G master returns is right, the docking ports are external and require diving gear to access.

its kind of a wet dock so you have to actually swim out but it does connect it to the station

v He did, it was a sub for BTE in Legacy days. Pretty fun sub, throwing chairs at the captain and becoming the vent goblin.

This station was never intended for campaign and came out before the campaign update did. Furthermore the shuttles can (or should) recharge from just being docked to the station and switching them off.
It's more of a sandbox/roleplay setting than a functional ship

Oh, so this small outpost sub isnt really a sub at all but an actual station as the name suggests?

So then how does one use this station on a campaign run if the station doesnt move and the batteries on the shuttles dont last forever?

No, you can't drive the station. That's a sonar terminal, it's used to look at sonar and only sonar. No ship controls there.
Also, there is a switch on board the Stinger to turn on the batteries, look by the railgun ammunition loader

ok i found the command center but I cant drive it as it does nothing. I also got into the shuttles and both wont drive because there is no toggle battery button so the shuttles just sink like a brick to the bottom...

how do you drive this thing? is there a cockpit? Or it not really mobile and just a station as the mod's name suggests and you drive the two shuttles that are attached to it instead to your next location and then come back before you runout of juice and then go back out again?

I wanted to study the wiring from the shuttles on this station, but I cant find them in the game files, do you know why this is TheSolbusaur?

You don't need any mods, you might have a conflicting mod enabled though. Captain should spawn in the top right chamber

It becomes a chore updating my subs after every game changing update, almost gave up after New Frontiers. I think I'll only update some creations after a number of updates have worn it out badly, or if there's some urgent game breaking problem

I really like this station but for the love of god remove that moon artifact in the research area, it is so annoying and i we have to send in people to drop it out the airlock otherwise it drives us all insane when at the lab.

Some associates of Chiko have just released a patch for BTE that makes it compatible again. Be aware that it certainly doesn't have all of the content that legacy had, I'd still recommend it however. If I feel like it, I might update this to have an actual BTE class A station.
