holy fucking shit how many of these raging barbs are there? i must've killed 20 of them, then i see 5 spawn together as im headed towards the camp. when does this end? theres no information

. i need mongolia to exist from turn 1 to represent the xiongnu and all horse barbarians, not necessarily the mongol empire. i have raging barbarians turned on, so i hope to face a lot of them to make up for no mongols, but i havent seen any yet. luckily, there's a lite option you can pick, which lets all old world civs spawn on turn 1, but colonials (north america, modern south america, australia) still spawn in historically late. if anyone is trying to play an accurate recreation, that's probably the best compromise you can pick. 2/2

while i really like the concept and it helps me tweak my human history recreation better (no more americans and canadians in 2000 bc), it does suck that you have to let the game autoplay until your historical date. luckily im just china, so it took like 10 mins or so. but now i have another problem: i'm one of the only existing civs on the whole map, its all empty. i have no mongolians or koreans near me. gegnhis' mongolia technically doesnt exist as a country until 1200s AD, way into the medieval era, so much of my game will be empty of horse nomads attacking me, which should be china's early history. 1/2

Also city states don't have settlers if you start the game in a non ancient era and they spawn before the era

I have added lines for CSE (and a couple modded civs) into HSD_Eras_6T.sql, HSD_InputHSD.sql, and ModSupport.sql and the civs seem to have took but the CSE mod is still incompatible and I am unsure why. If there is anyone out there with some coding skills please help! Message me and I will share files. Or perhaps totalslacker or gedemon might read this and have some tips?

Hey there, I was thinking there could be a revamp on a few Civilizations just out of some raw suggestion. For example, Japan for some reason starts at 400AD? And while we can't exactly go back to nearly 39,000 Years ago to the start of the Jomon Period (Since that was when the first traces of people on the Archipelago was found. It could atleast spawn in a similar time akin to China? Or atleast the 3rd BC when the Yayoi immigrated to Japan and overthrew the Jomon. It feels like you decided to plop them in during the midst of the Kofun Period (250-538AD), even though Japan has roots further back. Did you perhaps do that due to the Kofun Period unifying Japan? Which I understand, but if you wanted to go further back, you could have increased Barbarian spawns around Japan to signify the Jomon and Yayoi if we're going to spawn in during the Kofun Unified Period.

love your mode, but having problems with civs appearing in a later stage, like Germany. The problem is that at some point I have to select Pantheon, but there's no way to select and I'm blocked. Did you had any issues like that?

Yes that's exactly what this mod does. All Civs, AI included, will spawn at a specific date. If you pick a Civ that spawns late, you might already be completely surrounded by neighbours. The mod has options to allow you to convert certain cities nearby upon spawning. I recommend reading the mod description and the in-game settings for the mod.

the game doesnt start, it keep on configuration, when clicking of start game the players disappears and the game just stop, i can click and everything but the game just wont start

@totalslacker Still love playing the game with this mod. Almost can't play without it. I've noticed that the spawn radius setting is gone in the game setup. Is there any reason for this? I used to like to turn it down to between 2-3 tiles for TSL maps to get civs to spawn as close as possible to their original spawn points. Is there any way for me to accomplish this within the mod files?

When my city turned into a city state, I became at war with that city state, despite on the same turn also becoming its suzerain. As far as I can tell there is no way to stop being at war and make peace with the city state. Our war has lasted over an era.

I’m going to try conquering it and then maybe liberating it, but there should be a way to not be at war with a city state that you are suzerain of and the only civ influencing.

Update 1.5.3 - Settler Bonus & Invasion Difficulty
-New setup menu options
-Settler Bonus: Flat rate based on era, dynamic amount based on average number of cities, or none
-Invasion Difficulty: Minimum barbarian units (Easy), additional units per era (Medium), additional units per era and difficulty level (Hard)
-Updated timeline starting dates
-Support for 6T Units when using Static list for starting units
-Unique barbarian units now have an upgrade path
-Added start dates for Leaders of England DLC in the Leader Timeline

best find EVER!!!! ive been been asking about someone making a mod like this and finally found this! i had a some ideas to go along with this like i loved how your countrys name changed with civic changes i also loved how u can turn a beaten foe into a vassel but also thought it would be a good idea to add "puppet government" to conquest options where its on auto pilot so u dont have to worry about the basics of a conquered city, kinda like a city state u control without the chance of loosing it to other players without a fight

Hi @totalslacker - I've been playing your mod a tonne and it's wonderful, thank you for all the effort you've put in! Apologies if I've missed a thread about this somewhere. I'm playing a Historic Start game as America, a Colonial Civ. Every city I found has an Era Start Building with a big bonus which works perfectly. However, when I capture or retake cities, about half the time the Era Start Building comes pillaged with the city and I can't find a way to fix it. Is this a known bug or am I missing something obvious? Thanks again, just a wonderful mod!

This a mod conflict, not a bug, but I think it should be mentioned. Since the April update and possibly before, this mod conflicts with Sui Generis, regardless of whether or not Colonization and Raging Barbarians are enabled. I'm not a modder and the logs don't make much sense to me, but I'll be very happy to share them with anyone who might be able to help. I don't really see why these mods should conflict. The errors seem to have something to do with Nusantaran and Himalayan groups in Sui Generis. I've posted this at Sui Generis; perhaps Gedemon and/or Total Slacker would also have some ideas? What gets me is that I don't think the conflict used to exist. Maybe it has something to do with some changes made with the release of the Leader Passes?

Is there a way to stop hungary from spawning and instantly taking my 2 cities in a multiplayer game? Rewriting some files or something? Or is the only hope for a game a mod menu

Same. I have to manually continue turns. It only automatically ends turn if I have a unit (e.g. Great Prophet in my case)

The mod seems to have stopped automatically ending my turns until my civ starts. I've been playing on singleplayer, and I am unsure why it has stopped doing it. Is there any way you could tell me why it is doing that, or where to find any sort of error logs that could help pinpoint the issue?

And Yongle in 3100 BC (should be ~1375 AD). Guess it's just spawning by civilization with a random leader? I set it to all civs, true starts, no repeat leaders.

Hi @totalslacker. Love this mod but recently ran into an issue with mod conflicts. I checked each one I was running individually with HSD and found that the offending mod is Civitas City States expanded. Are you aware of this and do you know why this might be happening?

@Losiek0 I haven't included an option to do so yet, but the easiest way to disable or modify Super Monument effects is to open the GamePlay.sql file in the Data folder of the mod, then comment out or edit the effects there.

Update 1.5.2 - Rulers of the Sahara Update
-Added Leader Timeline start dates for the Rulers of the Sahara and Rulers of China leaders
-When the 6T Eras mod is enabled and the Era Timeline is selected, Wu Zetian will spawn in the Medieval Era, and Yongle will spawn in Renaissance
-City States will receive more bonuses on spawn (gold, tech, etc)
