Mod doesn't work, it somehow corrupted my testing world for no reason. Someone has to make an alternative from this mod.

One more thing I noticed: The NPCs are small blocks and it is possible to mount small block equipment on them like gatling guns, batteries, sensors, warheads, light. Basically, they work like Mech Legs. Maybe this mod could be the base for even bigger Mech legs, what is missing in SE.

This is mega awesome for my roleplay world, Really like them and the Control Station is nicely modeled.

But I have a huge request: please implement that they do not follow and shoot on an admin while in "UNTARGETABLE" mode. Admin-Maintaining Bases with active NPCs is a pain.

it'd be cool if they could weld blocks or blueprints within their range using components, but that's just an idea. they're pretty awesome even as they are, tbh.

Here is hoping it prompts Keen to add stuff like this to the game, at mo Empyrion is winning in our group as taking on enemy bases is just more fun with npcs running about.

I dont know how dificult it would be but a nice idea that would go along with them is having them have some text written on them, in case you want to "talk" with one, " cant you see im busy" or " you're in my way" kind of thing. Just a noob throwing some ideas out there lol =)

Awesome mod bro! Definitely adds life to the game! Was wondering though is there a way to make them walk instead of running all the time? Or maybe have a delay between the recorded points? Trying to make them have more of a "player" behavior

Can use add Build assistance, for instance you can "hire" laborers to help build projections, finish blocks, repair blocks. Etc.

Nvm just found that I can spawn in contracts using admin tools and give myself essentially endless engineers. Pretty fun to do big ground battles

is there a way I can just give myself contracts in creative without having to find trading posts? Or a way to spawn them in without needing contracts? I just want to have an npc ground battle in creative, I don't want to gamble an hour or two to find a trading post that may or may not even have contracts

don't know if this is a bug or in just missing mods, but when i spawn in the npcs they don't seem to attack the enemy grids, they will go to wherever i send them but wont even attack or notice the enemy. no extra mods just this one.

So it's still in early stages, but I'm working on getting these guys set up to work in some NPC ships I'm putting together.

My long term goal is to create one or more factions, where most ships have the capability to spawn NPCs, and will land and deploy troops if the detect an enemy grid.

I have a question for anyone who's got these acrobatic chaps working:
I'm trying to control a couple of NPC elite mercenaries by entering text manually in the Custom Data. The NPCs don't respond.
I entered things like guard:5:0:0 thinking they would move to 2 blocks from their controller, but they didn't move at all. Am I missing something?

ok been playing with this mod .. and have had some progress in the adons for this .. including items you can attach to npc to kit it out with,new weapons and extra armour , extra behaviour.. gathering works . repair friendly grids works. grinding works but mining is still (wip) still in prototype testing stage .. also plan to have detachable winged jet pack and npc parachute for drop ins .. lot of wrk to do still xxx will keep u posted if interested and if i post it up xxx

I would like to suggest a way to change the skin of the npc, you know, like a medbay kind of way. It would be interesting to make it compatible with mods that could change your character, as it would open up a lot of creative npc ideas.

yes plz fix this , this is one of my fave mods ever , and ive made some ad ons to this to give them more capabilates , welding , drilling . colecting . using other wepons , but they wont wrk untill this amazing mod is restored xxxxxx plz [plz .. mery x mass xx

I am having the same problem with the NPCs not engaging targets. I am in a faction and at war. They just walk towards the enemy and stand there. Help please
