Report a translation problem
The Commissar was not that difficult because the Astra Militarum units have distinct separate meshes for the weapons. So it's easy to just swap weapons around. However, the Tau DLC makes the weapons physically part of the unit model mesh. So it's not possible to just give the Pulse Rifle that already exists in the game to the Guardsmen since it is physically a part of the Fire Warrior mesh. However, I could give him the weapon if I had a standalone mesh that was topologized correctly and textured.
I went ahead and created a Gue'vesa mod. All I would need is a textured Pulse Rifle and we're good to go.
There is a possibility that original models might get added with future work by TOFFster.
I would like to ask you a question,I know that you were also working on a Rubric Marines mod a while ago,will you ever release it? because from what I remember the models looked awesome and you did a good job there.
