Hey, because I have 4 IDs. What is the difference between each one?

Mod ID: RepairAnyClothesOld
Mod ID: RepairAnyClothes
Mod ID: RepairAnyMod
Mod ID: RepairAnyMod
SDgamer 6 Jul @ 1:51pm
The Armored Vest from Vanilla Gear Expanded can't be repaired. If you can could you please add support for that mod?

@sdgamer If youd read the description it says it is compatible with Authentic Z......
SDgamer 11 Jun @ 8:37am
Only since they gun who made some armor mods work with your mod is sadly out of the modding scene, can you please add support to some of the armor mods people are using right now like Authentic Z and Vanilla Gear Expanded?

The Mod i'm talking about (sad this guy isn't around anymore): https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2984301200&searchtext=repair+any

Sorry to bother you, how should I use this mod? I have a needle, but there is no additional option for right clicking on clothes. Do I need a skill level requirement
Doktor 2 Jun @ 7:36am
I'm using two mods: Spongie's clothing and Spongie's open jackets. They add some new clothes and variants of those that exist in vanilla.
Johnny Dollar  [author] 2 Jun @ 7:03am
@Doktor
Most likely another mod interfering.
What is the clothes you're trying to repair called?
Since b42 is getting better and more stable, I haven't been playing b41 for a long time, and focus has been shifted to make mods ready for b42.
Doktor 2 Jun @ 5:44am
I'm playing on b41, and I have both main and sub mods installed and turned on. So you're saying some other mod could be stopping me from repairing modded clothing? Or does it mean that spongie's mods are incompatible with yours?
Johnny Dollar  [author] 1 Jun @ 2:47pm
@Doktor
Hey Doktor, if you're playing b41 make sure to enable the submod called "repair any mod"
If you're playing on b42, then you only need "repair any clothes"
If it's not working on b42, then you probably have another mod breaking it for you, sadly.
Doktor 1 Jun @ 10:05am
Hello sir mod creator. Awesome idea!! I am however having a small issue trying to repair clothing from spongie's clothing mods. If it's not just me, I wanted to know if you plan on adding compatability with spongie's mods. Thank you in advance, have a nice day
Johnny Dollar  [author] 10 May @ 6:33am
@Nepenthe
Hey Nepenthe, love your mods!
The errors I've experienced get thrown in main menu, and only in b41.
Currently busy with work and family, and waiting for b42 to be less unstable, but thank you so much for your input and taking a look.

What I find the most frustrating is that I got the mod working in b41, then in b42 it throws errors, but it still works completely as intended... and then I didn't have enough time to go back and left it since it was working fine, but complaining when launching the game.
Nepenthe 10 May @ 5:53am
I don't know why, but Corset_Jill from AuthenticZ Lite causes a Java exception when getCoveredPartCount is called... this isn't a problem with this mod but rather this mod picking up on a weird problem another mod has.

My "fix" was to add item:getName() ~= "Corset_Jill" to the code to avoid trying to see if it can be made repairable.

I assume there are other similar problems with other modded items that are the reason this mod triggers errors.
Banjo37 7 May @ 9:19am
Nevermind my bad i think that the general unstableness of having a lot of mods was the issue. I thought it was this because of the errors sorry
Johnny Dollar  [author] 7 May @ 7:38am
Yes, it still throws an error, but works with no problems.
b42 just loves to complain about everything haha.
steamgames.khim 7 May @ 7:29am
does this mod still throw an error that can be ignored?
Johnny Dollar  [author] 7 May @ 7:16am
Well there you go.
Never had a crash on my end running about 200 different mods on b42, so please narrow down which mods causes conflicts :)
Banjo37 6 May @ 5:16pm
But i did also have a lot of other mods
Banjo37 6 May @ 5:14pm
For me this mod was crashing my game after around 30 min of playtime consistently
Razor 21 Apr @ 7:55am
This mod really gives a good reason to level up tailoring.
Johnny Dollar  [author] 3 Apr @ 11:49pm
@Flexible Games
It can, yes.
After level 8 tailoring you fully repair a hole when patching with correct material.
This will restore full original protection to the clothing item.
Flexible Games 3 Apr @ 11:28pm
A zombie looks at me funny and my brand new bullet-proof vest has a hole in it, does this repair to full bite and scratch protection? Is it even possible?
sunday league god 21 Mar @ 7:49pm
what mods are known for breaking this? (i have a ton of mods installed)
Johnny Dollar  [author] 18 Mar @ 3:44am
@GXTV
I haven't had any problems, so yeah I bet :)
Safe to add mid-save on hosted server?
Johnny Dollar  [author] 13 Mar @ 7:14am
@voidwaifu
Wrong.
Just tested it with only this mod, and then many many other mods without crash.

Please make sure to accurately narrow down exactly what mod is causing your crash, and provide a crash and error log before just making such comments.
voidwaifu 12 Mar @ 12:43pm
crashes game after latest hotfix
pettyk73 21 Feb @ 2:21pm
im thinking ive solved it, i added the mod after playing for a bit, and i think those items that ive already found are coded as vanilla items and till have the "cant be fixed" affix, but im going to do more checking and see if i can find new stuff on the mp world and see if it has it. all mods worked together in single player. so here to hoping
pettyk73 21 Feb @ 1:44pm
I have all 3 in my inventory and it still doesn't come up. does it require a certain skill lvl?
im using the repair any clothes, I am running some other mods aswell, let me just into a singleplayer game and see if it also has issues
Johnny Dollar  [author] 21 Feb @ 10:27am
@pettyk73
Tested with vanilla and mod clothes.
I didn't have any problems.
Make sure that you have needle and thread in your inventory and not your bag.
This was the only instance I found close to what you described.
pettyk73 21 Feb @ 8:03am
the mod itself is working, i can right click items and it says "tailoring" but once i have the required stuff, it wont let me do anything with it.
Alexander 18 Feb @ 9:48pm
W mod author for caring about animals.
Ramses 13 Feb @ 10:35am
@Johnny
Ty very much for the very quick answer, worked as intended.
Johnny Dollar  [author] 13 Feb @ 9:44am
@Ramses
You should only enable "Repair Any Clothes"
The one called optional is left so old servers don't get broken.
You're not thick, it has gotten a little confusing with b42 and everything else :)
Ramses 13 Feb @ 9:41am
Hey, maybe im just to thick, but which ids do i have to enable when i want to add this to a b41 mp server?
Johnny Dollar  [author] 3 Feb @ 11:47am
@Wyze
Yeah, because I changed the max version on "repair any mod" to be b41 since people refused to read description and comments, where I told them DO NOT ENABLE THE SUBMOD CALLED REPAIR ANY MOD IN B42.
So I had to lock it for people, and now we've got folks going "unga bunga why mod red? Ooga booga me expect b42 to work 100% all the time no error" like damn man, give me a break here.
Wyze 3 Feb @ 10:26am
@Johnny Dollar Up until like a week ago or so "repair any mod" was a green check mark in the mods list now its a red X throwing errors. Probably why you have people coming here saying something. Least for me on B42 it was a green check now just red X. I just removed it from mine
Johnny Dollar  [author] 3 Feb @ 7:19am
@SSiLay
That's "repair any mod" which is only for b41 only, "Repair Any Clothes" main version is still avaiable.
Please, for the love of god, read descriptions before posting.
SSiLay 3 Feb @ 6:50am
error
ZomboidVersion : AVAILABLE ONLY IN DEBUG (mod must be updated to 42.0+ version)
Wyze 1 Feb @ 8:42pm
so did some testing and I use the "drag bodies faster" mod. It seemed to be updated at some point so you can pick the drag speed %. I picked a speed and the red X went away from the repair clothes mod. Not sure why but it seemed to fix itself after selecting the speed.
Wyze 1 Feb @ 8:32pm
I haven't played in a few days and this mod broke my save. Getting mod is missing error like T1 Faker. All mods are fine except this one.
hannah baker yourself 1 Feb @ 5:31pm
i had to delete my save and restart progression, thats what fixed the "mod is missing" even when it was enabled in mod settings.
West Pokiily 1 Feb @ 4:55am
well,maybe its my problem,sorry
Johnny Dollar  [author] 1 Feb @ 4:09am
Me and other people don't have any problems.
Enable only this mod and provide proof that it doesn't work instead of "no work" comments please.
hannah baker yourself 31 Jan @ 10:57pm
i get an error saying mod is missing even though its enabled/subscribed
West Pokiily 31 Jan @ 10:46pm
it cant work in b42
Lence187 30 Jan @ 4:47pm
@gamer3000as Really....? Read the f.... FAQ.
gamer3000as 30 Jan @ 4:31pm
im just a stupid random that will ask. DO THIS WORK FOR BUILD 42??
Johnny Dollar  [author] 30 Jan @ 3:04am
@matteokmp
I tested it on B41 and it didn't give any errors.
Read FAQ please, it says B42 throws a few errors, but we all hope that when B42 gets a little more polished, it will stop.
There's plenty of things that don't work in B42 right now when it comes to mods, a few errors is expected.
You can safely ignore them :)
matteokmp 30 Jan @ 3:00am
When I load this mod through the mod menu before loading the game it causes 5 errors.
Do I worry about it or is this mod working as intended?
