for some reason it started havin a bunch of missing textures. I played once another time and nothing happened, ike the entire map was perfectly fine.

The thing is: source really does not have the capability to make good looking actually moving water. In order to do that id have to increase the map's vertical size (which is impossible, as the map uses up most of the space source sdk allocates) to encompass the water block when its not flooding the map, plus the moving/flooding water textures look really cheap, and do not use real time distortion or reflections. Lastly, I don't know how well source would handle a moving entity that big. So, no, a floodable map is. out of the question.

source's water selection is limited, and most of them are supposed to be viewed at day. unless you could name a specific water texture, i dunno what i can do?

nice map only the water looks awful you used there, I will be glad if you replace it with some water that creates reflections. And repair the shadows inside the buildings because there are still shortcomings otherwise a good job.

yeah, by the time i learnt about the importantance of detailing i had already made most of the map. Vis modifications wouldn't really do to much for this map- outside of the few closed spaces, there really isn't too much to clip behind. I made a bunch of the truss structures details, though, to improve compile times.
