Could you disable all other mods and play those ~15 turns to trigger the event with this active to confirm?
thanks for clearing it up now i can subscribe! woot! i will hog tie the emperor now! >:)
Sun Quan isn't currently a standalone faction. You've probably seen him take over Sun Jian or Sun Ce's factions after they died.
Thanks. I think it applies to Sun Quan as well, the Emperor fled to him twice in my Liu Biao campaign.
This just prevents the Emperor escape mechanic from triggering in a campaign, regardless of what faction you're playing and regardless of whether it's currently held by the player or AI.
It's based on number of regions and prestige / progress level, plus a number of bonuses and penalties:
Number of regions * 5
Prestige / Progress level * 25
(I read this as Noble = 1, Second Marquis = 2, Marquis = 3, Duke = 4)
Bonuses
+ 50 to other player if it's a multiplayer campaign
+ 50 to 3K factions (Cao Cao, Liu Bei, Sun Jian, Sun Ce)
+ 25 to remaining playable factions
+ 25 to factions the current holder is at war with
Penalties
- 150 to other player if it's a shared mandate multiplayer campaign
- 50 to vassals
- 50 to Yuan Shu. Nobody likes Yuan Shu :(
Bonuses/Penalties that only apply to current Prime Minister
+ 100 to current prime minister if it's the first year
+ 50 to current prime minister after first year
+ 150 to Dong Zhuo if he's alive
+ 50 to Dong Zhuo if he's dead
- 100 if 1 regions or fewer
- 50 if 3 regions or fewer
- 25 if 5 regions or fewer
I would expect it to work with existing save games, if that's what you mean, but I'm not 100% certain.
This entirely replaces the script with the function for the Emperor to escape, so if properly installed there should be no escape mechanic for the game to run.
What campaign is your save game for?
