Actually there is indeed some footage. You can see it on YT (can't send the links I think). The videos are called:

-Vossey. com - 7 minutes de Left 4 Dead (this is gameplay footage, at 6:25 she appears)
-Left 4 Dead beta intro: 8-July-2008 (At 1:43, and 2 other videos from the same channel)

she was indeed paler, had brighter hair and some blood on her, think she looked nicer there.
