i'm breeding a tank for one of each. that's over 5000 eco points for the fish alone, and 144 species means 7200 poster points
it will be glorious
and i'll damn well need it given how much modded stuff i have

I also managed to finish all the hybrid variants after about 750 platy fry :) This is such a fun mod! Amazing work, kudos to you SaltbrushC!

Been trying out the platy breeding again and I got my first green/vibrant colour and been refining the blue platies. It was a grind, but worth it!

I'm usually fond of the bigger types of patterns, so my favourites ended up being the three spot types (Spotted, Spotted Sunburst and Ashspot). Colour wise, I'm a sucker for blue so I love the ceruleans, but the deeper reds were also really pretty!

I managed to finish them all I believe, before I went to bed last night! Candy Cane was the last set I needed to finish. Used a mass-breeding U-tank with a maxed lagoon for the babies, sorted groups into basic tanks then dumped them all in this mega tank. It took awhile, but it was really fun.

Fortuna, you have every color but you're missing several patterns. As for the sunburst, that's only a few that actually have it.

Been spending most of my day on this, because I enjoy breeding for hybrids and I already had a creator mode hybrid focused aquarium going. It's been interesting, trying for the different patterns. Not sure every pattern needed a sunburst variant, but it's still been fun.

I've got 9 colours and 11 patterns so far.

Nice. Let me tell you that the more advanced patterns are much more detailed as I did most of them later on when I figured out pattern transparency (so it can blend with the base color) and stuff.

I can't remember exactly, but in my old game I found Mouse Man, Sunburst, Bare and the one that is almost completely black. And there are a few others I've forgot, but in my current playthrough I have crimson, amber, Sunburst and Bare.

I had to restart my aquarium because I went a bit...crazy. With over 180 platies and guppies and swordtails. But from my head, around 20 variants.

Expect a LOT of normal platies when trying to get some of the advanced breeds.

I thought not. Breeding in the game is odd and a game of chance. For example, I got a Black Lace Angel on my first go for example, despite being considered more advanced breeds. But when I crossed it with a Blushing Angel from my second batch, it created normal Amazonian angels.

I admit one thing Yuuna's mod does which I really like is making the default guppy skin more colourful. If you look at wild male guppies, they're quite colourful in their own right.

Yeah, I know, flishster's, but his at least had (I think) different varieties than Metalbeak's one adds so there's a reason to use it.

Yes I should have worded that previous comment more clearly. And unfortunately it also overshadowed a clownfish breeding mod and isn't compatible.

It's fine, I never did either. Just used some of the game's debug tools to test if patterns and colors worked. Haven't even seen all the varieties myself but I'm trusting that none of them are going to look particularly glitched out.
