To those having the double face issue (Not sure if this works for the DLC or not, please let us know if it does ^^) this is written in the desc of the mod:

USING OTHER FACE MODS? EXPERIENCING BUGS?

If you have other face mods stacking follow these steps.
Navigate to \Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\2148781980\assets\data\peopleParts\DebugFace
Copy contents over to Folder peopleParts
All Done!


Did this on my end and it fixes the issue basically 100%. The mod list is sorted by the numbers, changing the numbers will change the load order. The largest number goes on the bottom

Also, the double-face issue will solve itself if you move 10K faces to the bottom of your load order.

For people having issues, the 'patches' are actually standalone version of mods designed for compatibility with 10K faces, and using both the original mod and the 'patch' will actually just cause problems

So just like many others I seem to see the default face ontop of the faces from this mod, I am only using this with Freaky's Fresh Faces and I am also using the patch to make the compatible so not sure what to do

The Mb2 mouth seems to be bugged. It shows up in the selection menu, but it's invisible on the character's face.

Are you using other face mods? They may be uncompatible. In this scenario you can refer to the debug menu in the description.

I have an issue involving NPC face generation - it looks like they have the randomly generated different face parts from the mod ontop of the vanilla face. So there's two sets of eyes, mouths and eyebrows on each NPC.

Pushed an update that I hope resolves issues for Linux users by going into the files that had text not considering the case-sensitivity.

@MiguelCairo They won't be corrupted but will be missing faces/parts. You'll be able to edit them to fix this.

hi i like the mod so far thank you very much :) i have a question, if i remove the mod someday will the legacy characters be screwed i assume?

@Nya-rlathotep, None of the additional non-face features except vanilla ones ever appear on random characters, this functions the same way with the Fantasy mod. Only player characters can use these features.

As per the description if read "NPC Generation is completely supported so you'll be very unlikely to ever encounter the same face ever through many playthroughs. The generated faces only utilize the vanilla assets to avoid any clashing aesthetics. All of the new features added by this mod are available during character creation even ones not allowed by NPCs!"

Personally, I'm not a fan of more detailed eyes. I'm quite particular of any mods I get feel fully integrated into the base game and I feel they don't fit well enough with the base game face parts. Is there any way I can remove them so they won't appear on other characters and such?

I've got only this mod active, and have restarted the game only with this mod active and I get randomly generated missing face parts.

This issue can't be replicated, and isn't possible unless you have other mods that affect the files for default faces, or add new ones. This mod REPLACES all of the default face files to make them inactive on NPCs.

This is only by user error regarding compatibility, or modifying the files, that this bug can occur.

the bug where features overlap over default faces is still very prominent. at least one out of every three characters generated in a campaign is affected by it. doesn't matter if I have every mod but this one disabled, doesn't matter if I reinstall the mod or the game.

Issues regarding the eye-patch has been roughly fixed w/ an over-ride file. It is not the cleanest option but currently the only one I could discover.

Regarding beards, there are mods that make them more accessible, the base game itself doesn't account for having multiple face parts and as such cannot function correctly.

The "More Beards" mod is a fantastic resource

For blank faces; you are encountering a mod incompatibility. This is not caused by this mod; alternatively, if you are running Linux, some users have stated that the mod does not function correctly if it is treating the files with 'Case-sensitivity' on.

It would appear that the more detailed eye sets from this mod don't work well with the eyepatch, which - as far as I know - one can get from probably the brash hook quest. I could just write it off as a dark scar for said character using that eyepatch but it would always feel off to me. Any possibility to fix this?

Are some beards just not supposed to work with this mod? Really wanna have this mod but the issue with the beards is a dealbreaker. Some beards also don't work with the vanilla faces when this mod is active.

For anyone facing no face/blank face issue after installing this mod, go to the main menu, under options, enable the face mods. It should help. I didnt know about this and hope this comment helps other people :)

I get that you can use the blank face on the default slot so it only shows the individual parts, but is there anyway to just not have that slot filled in by default?

If a character has 2 faces, use the blank face on the default face slot, then it'll only show the individual face parts.

Mod is great except some facial alterations doesn't work with the eyes because its "overlapping". For example the "eye patch" you get from a opportunity event disappears if using this mod.
Is there anyway to fix that? Is it possible to get a option to "hide" one eye so it won't interfere with these facial alternations?

Yes this was the first mod I installed on my (Windows-based) game and I've faces on top of faces.

I'll try a reinstall. I'm on Windows but I hadn't played the game for some time not since the patch a while back and I think it is confused. So I'll just try a fresh install. Thanks!

@aronkowalski2 I cannot recreate this issue. I know that some users experience problem on Linux because it is case sensitive and this mod was not made with that in mind. If you are running on Linux, that is likely why you are experiencing this issue.

@Elorae, I currently don't do compatibility mods, that's up to other authors. The issue they'll run into though, is that the way it would work is that NPCs would stop using their faces unless they followed exactly how my mod works.

Knowing how much Stanfreed has made, it's a huge time investment if he or someone else were to try to take on this kind of task. His mod is great! Shamefully incompatible, you'll have to disable for now unless someone else takes up the time to do such.
