OK, so, in most of this series of CVs, you have this similar sized hangar bay doors in the sides with a sort of standardized connection plan built in there. Works great for the Auger to the Sledgehammer and Shortbow.

This doesn't meet up with *anything*.... Am I expecting a ship with a wider hanger that can make the reach to these ships with the thick back sides?

@Arith
I've updated it now with ventilators in the bridge

Love the ship! Just built it this morning! I did notice that there's no ventilator in the bridge, so I have to wear my helmet.

@Phoenix. Very well then.

@Myrmidon
After looking it up I never realised it was spelt differently, I just figured they used to hang the planes in the shed to work on them hence the name, but then I don't think I've looked to closely at the word before or why it was named that to begin with (I think I've also been pronouncing it wrong then too :S)

Anyway, Fixed spelling mistake!

I hope it will serve you well then!

@Steel Dragon
Thanks!

It's size difference is about the same as the Longsword is to the Broadsword, and the Shortsword is to the Longsword etc. so it's definitely a size category higher in the sizes I've been using, refer here for example

You can actually fit up to 20 Cutlass-Class inside the ship itself (though little tight to fit all them in) but that's also my largest fighter, you can fit even more if you mix some of the smaller ones (Stiletto-Class, Dagger-Class and Dart-Class) in, plus you can even put some on the external deck if you really want to, so I think it counts :P

Loving all of your new ships that are coming out. Just one thing I noticed with this one, not a big deal just has to do with size classification. Since the Broadsword is a cruiser, and it's roughly the same size as this ship, wouldn't this be considered more of an "Escort Carrier" classed ship rather then a full carrier? Especially since this ship only carries one flight (3 to 6) of fighters. I would expect a full carrier to be able to carry at least a full squadron (12 to 24 aircraft split into 4 flights) of fighters.

@Willow Occult

Unless you're playing with a faction, You may want to keep with the idea of going with the Longsword, or potentially the Broadsword-Class (if you're after something bigger) as they will suit solo play better then the Scabbard-Class, as the Scabbard-Class is designed around carrying a fleet of SV's, and was not designed to carry any HV nor will it be as capable as either the Longsword or Broadsword in a head on fight as it is armed with Flak and cannon turrets for point defence (i.e. just like a real carrier :P)

however if you're just building it for the cool factor, go for your life :P

please never stop making ships im working on in my survival to make the longsword but now i want to make this. XD

Yeah I'm quite pleased I was able to get that idea working well!
