very cool, some suggestions:

Modded repair bot(can be anything, but if the bots were quicker, that would be cool)

Modded spin block( can rotate much faster and easier)

Modded thruster( much faster)

Modded short range laser combiner( much more powerful)

Thank you for the great mod, these changes would be greatly appreciated!

Yea, the game was changed and so atm, it give you 50 per block space occupied. Fuel also has the same issue.

i think theres a bug with the ammo crate, when its placed down it only allows for 50 more ammo

Love the mod! been using it for a few RP - esque builds. Any chance of getting a cheesy power block that functions like an RTG but with absurd power generation? It would help me out a ton with my smaller builds, and I can't figure out where I can change these stats.

If not oh well. As said before love that you made this mod, and I hope you are staying safe and enjoying life!

Can you elaborate on what issues your having with this mod? Did you maybe miss a step when installing the mod? I just tested it and it should be fine mostly, maybe a block or two got broken by the game update but everything should be working fine.

FTD is different compared to other games, for you to get any workshop item to show up ingame, you must first subscribe to it on workshop and then in the FTD main menu (not launcher), press the content tab (right of Multiplayer) and under mods section, select Download. In it press on the mod you want to install, scroll down and press 'Save mod in...' and restart the game. It's simular for workshop vehicles too. I doesn't really matter if you play existing saves with mods as long as you don't make a vehicle in something like campaign using mods and then delete those mods while using those vehicle.
You can also unsub from a workshop item without losing it once you installed/saved it.

While I don't plan on updating this version which got alot of issue due to recent updates, you can fix it manually by going to ...\Documents\From The Depths\Mods\Cheesy Addons\Items then searching for 'Composite_ab69954.item' file and opening it with notepad then changing the Guid and Name under MaterialReference from

"Guid": "fa1e6bb3-2e71-4377-9d5a-4f8beca93ef1",
"Name": "heavy armour mat"

to

"Guid": "323d0ea2-0a02-4ad9-84fb-6e03dc624d76",
"Name": "heavy armour randomtile"

that should solve the issue, but you can also change the texture of material to any texture you want by going into the game folder and copying the one you like the most.

i had a build with the blocks but now they are invisible. they are still there but with no texture do you know how i can fix that so i can see them again?

These should come in as standard
I love building realistic like ships / themed builds and it would suck without these / other stuff o cooked up
For instance designing WH40K spaceships that don't eat your computer alive(aka small ish) is impossible in the base game (too much space needed to generate power and the gun assemblies would be wayyy too big to be feasible)

well for aps you know the gun there is a limit on how many blocks connect that is like 1 or 2 thousand and i would like to increase that bc some autoloaders and intakes dont connect bc of that limit

Sorry, I can't but if you ever happen to need more power, you can get it for free by placing down the 'broken' modded battery and then removing it, it will give you alot of energy without wasting any materials.

You were right, after doing some testing, power produced by the RTG depends on how many positions it occupies which can be determined by ArrayPositionsUsed. Because it uses ArrayPositionsUsed, there is no point to add it as the bigger the number, the weirder it gets.

awesome mod, hella fun. FYI the RTG's dont generate any extra power. idk if thats a glitch or a limitation of what can be modded tho
