The scope on the increase brewmaster recruitment level effects are incorrect. They're set to faction_to_faction_own and thus do nothing. Should either be faction_to_province_own_factionwide if intended to do every province like the original scope implies or one of the scopes that only touches the owning province if meant to change local recruitment level (region_to_province_own for instance).

Given that they also receive any bonuses to thane recruitment level I'd suggest the latter option, with a factionwide bonus attached to the Bugman's Brewery landmark.

So if you want to use this in an existing game it looks like you need to demolish your public order buildings and rebuild them. That worked for me. Very fun mod. Really cool that it can be a small unit as well as a single entity hero.

Is there an SFO add-on to scale this little fella to have more reasonable stats by chance? Love the idea btw, really wish this would get implemented in TWW2 vanilla, or at least made in SFO, great work!

You're talking about Dwarfs of Karak Eight Peaks. That one adds your unit.

I believe I have a mod-conflict with this mod.
I am using that 'The Hammer of Grungni' mod, which adds in a new Hero: The 'Dignitary'/'Shadow Hunter'. This seems to 'push' the Brewmaster of the list of recruitable Hero Types, as I can't see the brewmaster anywhere. I also don't see any arrows to switch to see more heroes (like I think the Scaven have).
No idea if this could be added by this mod or not.

The brewmaster icon now it shows but the hero acutally never becames available it always says a new hero will become available next turn.
Maybe i need to start a new campain?

seeing the same thing, thorek can't recruit brewmasters, and the ones you can get from confederating karak azul cant use character runes

The last SFO version got taken down or deleted (i dont know why) but will this vanilla mod ever be updated to atleast do what it says? And i can confirm that the revive function is broken

Available for all three vanilla dwarf factions, I am not sure for mod factions.(Theoretically there should be. If not,maybe is mod conflict)

Only available for the main Dwarf faction, not all Dwarf factions. I don't know if this is intended, an oversight, or just laziness, but it's disappointing if you want to play as one of the other Dwarf factions. Also, there are two slots with a question mark appearing before the Brewmaster under the lords panel in custom battles. WTH?

Works with other mods and SFO but is not balanced for SFO but since it's a unit that should never be in melee it should be fine

The autoresolve nooking may be becouse the unit has no melee CP in main_units_tables so the game thinks it is COMPLETELY worthelss in melee, unable to protect itself up the melee CP to 250-300 and reduce the ranged to 250-200 to blaance it out, the dude is better in melee anyway.

Also Abilities work partialy for heroes but Bugmans dark Choice doesn't work for units or heroes.
Bugmans Ale does work for all units please fix this as well.

nooo, abilities stop working for me, i can see them but i cant use them: premium heal for one, and standard for the other top working. i dont know why, this mod is one of my favorite !

The only thing this mod needs is for someone to make a sub mod with the dwarf bodyguards mod and give this guy bugmans ranger bodyguards

Well I modded yer mod, so I dont know if the fix was from your changes, or mine.

I set them to elite and it seemed to fix the issue. Not sure if that's what you did.

I really like this guy... he is quite useful and I started a fresh campaign just because of how useful the little buggers are, so good damn job there.

But one little issue... they suck up ALL the damage in autoresolve. Like I can autoresolve a stupid clean up fight, and get one single casualty, the brewmaster. Make sure you got them labeled as ranged so they dont tank all the damage. Cuz I hate having to play every fight no matter how mundane just because the brewmaster will die if I dont.

This mod is awesome and fills in the missing component that Dwarfs lack due to not having magic. Bugman's Brew is indeed magical and can heal, restore, and fortify. It's part of the lore, and a great mod if you are doing VH or Legendary.

Almost all dwarf faction can recruit Brewmaster in campaign.

Hi, I found that the only skill not working entirely was premium bugmans ale. It works in battle at first tier but if you put a 2nd or 3rd skill point into it, it no longer works in battle - at the moment, I just spend one point and leave it at that... If this got corrected that'd be awesome as I love this mod

@ ClayChuang I found that this mod does not work properly if you have OvN Lost Factions Part One - Beta enabled. All other skills work besides premium bugmans ale, the incompatibility effects both campaign and custom battles. Just thought i would report my findings.
