Hi. It will be really hard for me to explain. Start with getting Blender, "Source engine tools" (http://steamreview.org/BlenderSourceTools/) extension and a software called "Crowbar" (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/groups/CrowbarTool) . Look through tutorials for how to use them.

Next, decompile a model of your interest using Crowbar, import .smd file you've got into Blender and cut the mesh into separate parts. Your can then export and use those separated parts any way you like.

Hello! I am absolutely in love with your ASTW2 and ACT3 gun packs, especially it's cool old classic low poly style! I've got just some questions about it, because i want to make a pack of guns myself, but i don't really have any experience with modeling. How do you make those mashup css models? Which software do you use to blend those things together? And how did you make that one model uses different texture files from another guns? I would REALLY appreciate your answer. Thank you in advance and if you need so i can credit you for your help if my mod will live up to it's publication!

Seeing that comments are open I figured I should let you guys know, I love these weapons, they're phenomenal. They fit the low poly aesthetic of ASTW2 but are unique in all their own ways and are well made! Great work!
