@SaiyajiN Cenk I'm unable to replicate any issues with a non-working story. Tested with a mod load order of every Odinblade class and latest Script Extender. I'm confident that it will be a conflict between other mods or lack of Script Extender causing your issues.

@Biornulf When you recruit a character and they let you decide their class is when you can select the new ones.

I can agree with "A homeless orphan"´s post from 24.May. This mod causes issues, gives you the error that it couldnt load the story properly.

BEWARE: This mod caused a super annoying bug on character creation that said "Can't create working story." then it spawned me in the boat with 4 random companions. This mod was certainly the problem because I went through my entire mod list disabling the mods one by one. I even sorted through the load order extensively to try and place this everywhere to try to get it to work. I don't know why this happened today, because it was working just fine literally yesterday. Anybody know what the deal is? And yes, I have the script extender

@Kael'thas Yes, in fact it exclusively works with the definitive edition due to the script extender.

The Issue that causes the game to start with 5 players is caused by not having the required script extender or it being place in the wrong location.

That is not an issue specific to this mod. Sometimes Steam just decides to cache mods without installing them and there's nothing the authors can do about it. It can be fixed on the user's end though:

Use LL's mod manager and in the centre above the ribbon there will be something called "Updates". Click on that and then select everything and "Copy Selected to Mods Folder". This forces Steam workshop files that have been downloaded to actually be placed in the mods folder. They will then show up correctly.

@frasdoge I'm having the same issue where the mod isn't showing up even though I'm subscribed to it, I have LL's mod manager installed, how do I use it to download the cached mods on Steam?

im going to keep nosing around a bit.. but so far this just doesnt work.. ive double checked to make sure it actually installed and its done it every time.. but the mod doesnt appear in the mod load order and the option is present in the dialouge menu ... i have norbytes scipt extender and ledaer libs library and its just not downloading.. is there a version specific to defenitive edition cuz that could be my problem .. any help would be much appreciated !! this is the only thing i feel like i really need to finish my mod collection !!

@frasdoge New to Divinity and mods themselves, found the issue though so don't do too much lol. It was an issue with the load order.

@TwstedMystk This mod only modifies the class attribute of companions when initialising their equipment via the recruitment dialog. It does not handle any recruiting of who is added to or leaves your party in any way, so I find it very hard to believe it is causing a bug of that nature. You can view the code on the linked GitHub.

I don't really understand what you're trying to say with your second point. It obviously works with the origin character NPCs. In fact it *only* works on them. See the workshop screenshots.

hey! there seems to be a bug where the mod creates a load of companions that you cant remove from your party. additionally, there is no apparent option to switch the origin npcs class to one of the mod classes

@Cows Go GRRR It shows up like every mod does. That's just Steam being weird sometimes with the workshop. Easiest solution is use LL's mod manager to force steam to download Steam cached mods.

@Larsen I have found the source of the issue, and it is now resolved. In short, internally the Conjurer class is called Shaman, and there was a Shaman added class from a mod that I have added support for.

It is now fixed on this end, and the mod will have compatibility with that specific mod-added class again in a few days when that mod author finds the time (very simple fix).

It is when i try and pick conjure so i dont have to use gold getting em skills in start, else its not a big problem as i can use mirror to respec fane to summoner and do some pickpocketing.
its only the conjure pick that is messed up.
it could be a other mod that mess it up just i cant really see what mod it would be.

Doing a new playthrough and wanted to try this mod + some of odins class mods.
It works fine for odins classes but i wanted to have Fane as a Conjurer, and he just keeps taking his basic skill setup.

@A nondescript pumpkin The Norbyte extender is necessary for the function of the mod to determine which mods are installed / classes available. Without it it would be forced to show all classes the mod supports regardless of whether they are installed or not (all 65 of them), and selecting them would do nothing leading to 'bug' reports.
