Absolutely. 200 STR Red Prince is just lore accuracy, nothing to do with balance.

Least unbalanced mod.

Understandable, given the issue. It's a difficult one for me to potentially even begin to resolve given it only seemingly occurs quite rarely (now two reports ever, I think?)

It is also somewhat hilarious that it causes things like Giga-Tarquin tbh. My main curiosity is if it's only interacting with the sorta named unique chars who pop up every so often or if its everything that has a statblock, but without being able to replicate it its hard for me to check either way.

Thanks for the information either way, I'll put a disclaimer in the description about it at least given I can now say its not one isolated incident.

honestly we just stopped using attribute and only used talent and civil growth because we cant figure out how to stop it from scaling.but no all we are doing is subscribing on workshop and using ingame.and we also made a seperate game with the skip act 1 mod.tarquin got some insane stats when we used insanity.at default he has 24 intelligence coming on boat and then he jumps to 64 with mod.pretty funny

I'm not sure what Dallis normally has, realistically I wouldn't be surprised if she had excess stats above her level anyway for reasons that may well be a spoiler so I will not state them here.

The first NPC gaining stats is an oddity though. Did the same thing happen with any voidwoken if you tested that at all? I wonder if its a scope bug where it is somehow inheriting changes to players on to humanoid NPC's, or if its literally everything

It's a DE mod so we can eliminate classic.
Its odd, if it was purely base game vanilla causing the issue I'd have expected way more reports. Wonder if its somehow a base file issue. I don't suppose you've ever used any nexusmods or the like that install directly to your game directory?

just did a test with only insanity.the first lady u talk to on boat on default on has 10 to all stats.i used only insanity and immediately all of her stats jumped to 11 or 12 plus.but yes its just the mod itself.idk if a update caused this or if we have to play classic for mod to work
kit 23 Feb, 2022 @ 12:11pm
i dont think enemies at lvl 8 shud have that high of stats but i cud be wrong
kit 23 Feb, 2022 @ 12:10pm
i cant figure out why its scaling but i came off boat at lvl 2 and looked at dallis.she had 64 intelligence and constitution when i examined her.she was lvl 8.i dont have bags on and i turned off the skip act.matter of fact i only had your mods installed.i had cap tweaks attribute insanity growth.talent growth and civil growth.i have a pick of her at 8 if anyone can speed to her and examine her without mods

Do you use any of the Larian gift bags at all? They are basically mods as well, which may mean they're involved somehow.

Unfortunately troubleshooting this is a pain because this is what, the second ever mention from 4k+ people using it.

Have you tried without skip act 1 as well? I'm not particularly familiar with it, if it only does what its name says it might well be fine regardless, but to skip act 1 safely I'd assume it'll mess with levels and the like to start you at a stage where you won't be instakilled for being level 1 in act 2, which might well be the cause.
kit 22 Feb, 2022 @ 5:02pm
enemies are scaling with this mod and your uncapped mod.i only have the skip act 1 mod other than yours.idk how to fix it
Dragon King Dice 10 Feb, 2022 @ 4:44pm
Yep! Moving it to the bottom of the load order helped. It was probably the new Luminary mod that was messing with it. Since that mod adds a whole new school of skills to be used instead of something that goes off the base game skills.
Fjarun  [author] 10 Feb, 2022 @ 2:54am
Hm. Well I don't think Divinity got an update recently so we can probably not include that as the cause, so it's unlikely the mod just broke, given usually only a game update will break game files (and even then, Larian probably won't be updating the file I used)

At a guess, your modlist likely has a conflict somewhere. Did you add mods recently?
If you use the in game mod list, sort this file to the bottom so that it loads last and should overrwrite any other mods affecting this one value, if that works and fixes it for your next level up the issue was likely a conflict.

If you'd like your missing points fixed, the quickest way is using Cheat Commander and adding what you lost to your characters.

Recently the mod has not been working for me. When I level up I only get three instead of the ten like I should be having.:steamsad:
Fjarun  [author] 12 Sep, 2020 @ 10:32am
If you just want to be straight up OP, I'd suggest Cheat commander instead tbh.
That way you can get equipment, levels etc the same way, rather than just attributes.
divle 12 Sep, 2020 @ 6:40am
can you make one that gives like 50 attribute points per level so some of us can just goof off with an overpowered character
Fjarun  [author] 9 Jul, 2020 @ 3:20pm
There is a basic one for civils.
Combat is on the do list, as is solving the bugs I was encountering with the lite and insane civil versions I was testing.
Zcythe 9 Jul, 2020 @ 10:45am
Could you do one for Combat and Civil abilities?
Fjarun  [author] 8 Jul, 2020 @ 6:32pm
Yeah I was looking into that when I made the others and was having issues getting it to actually function. Its still on the to-do list.
Whoracle 8 Jul, 2020 @ 6:00pm
Thanks!
One note: I looked through your mods and I saw the pattern, but there is no ability growth up mod (number of combat ability points you get per level). It seems like it would be among your mods, so I was surprised that you didn't make one (idk if there are any technical reasons).
But, yeah, nice mods, my dude.

Anything of mine with "insanity edition" is designed to be a game breaking version of another mod; the normal version is available here.
Whoracle 7 Jul, 2020 @ 8:33pm
Is there a more tame version?
