i very like it
I do not experience any crashes when picking Wilson, just checked. Please verify if it's not another mod.
New update released.
Changelog (v1.18):
- Fixed game crash after Wilson character update;
- Added a lot of new speech strings to Demoman.
It would be a waste of resources to spend a week+ on an idea that's not exciting at all.
Changelog (v1.17):
- Updated Demoman's crafting menu icon;
- Fixed an issue where Demoman's character skins were not accessible while "Owned" filter was enabled;
- Fixed an issue where Demoman's item skins were not accessible in new crafting menu.
In DST it would make the default Stickybomb Launcher obsolete, unless it would be heavily restricted (there is no bomb arm time in this mod, and I would need to implement such mechanic specifically for Scottish Resistance).
Choosing which group of bombs to detonate would also need to be implemented (and it's much more pain in the butt than it seems to be).
I got better at creating things since then, but right now I don't have as much time as back then to add an entire new weapon.
I might add Scottish Resistance in the future, but no promises.
Other characters can use following Demo's items:
- Sticky/Quickiebomb Launchers - but the bombs explode instantly when they're set;
- Scrumpy - but does not grant crits upon drinking. Makes the character groggy instead;
- Ullapool Caber, Bounty Hat, entire Samur-eye set - no downsides, everyone can use them.
Eyelander and Wee Booties cannot be equipped by characters other than Demo.
its kind of upsetting actually
Glitch: If you Try Drinking "Scottish Handshake" or "Scrumpy" while your inventory is full and if you are holding the drink on your mouses's um hand when you try to drink it the drink will jump out if you mouses' hand and your character will say the line when your inventory is full and you try to pick up an item but your will still do the animation of drinking the drink and still gives you the nutrition of the drink so you will be able to keep on drinking while you dont have to make more drinks.
