now that the vehicle framework is out, any chance of a port? would work rather well, some helicopter action might get me to reinstall sooner than i was planning.

For anyone who wants to use this with 1.4, you can edit the About.xml in the mod folder and replace both instances of smashphil.neceros.srtsexpanded to smashphil.srtsexpanded and in the supportedVersions tag either add or replace the contents with <li>1.4</li> .

For some reason RimPy will complain that it still needs the old dependency, but that can be ignored and from my (limited) experience it works just fine.

note: currently, when there is a big stack of items that cannot be carried in one go, it will be reserved by a person trying to carry it over. they will not be able to carry everything but the entire stack becomes inaccesible for everyone else. if possbile, could you change that, in either this mod if it only affects rotorcrafts or in a new one if it is a general thing? because one colonists running across the map to load those stone blocks, alone, is kinda...eh...

might be a weird question, but do these have combat capabilities outside of the usual SRTS bombing-run thing? asking because some of the combat choppers look like they have machine guns.

They should be purple or red, and white with grey and black accents. Which one is looking black? And do you have any graphic overhauling mods enabled or some form of painting mod? These craft are paintable however due to the limits set by the parent mod they don't keep their coloring.

I do plan to rebalance the mod at some point. As I was mostly shooting in the wind at first and haven't had too much time nor drive to reblance it since. I still do wish to make it easier than normal SRTS, mostly as modern/cold war era rotorcrafts should be easier to make than trying to make an SSTO Harrier.

Also 2.5D renders means I made a special model and took renders of them. They are still images just like any other mod.

hey umm, would it be possible to balance this mod? i don't know if i sound like a hypocrite, but I like it if mods are balanced

i know that there are settings in game to change it but I am an idiot when it comes to balancing because the moment i do something that makes me win i feel like I cheat, when it comes to mods. if it was balanced by the authour(in this case you) i feel like i would not have this feeling and would not make the choppers unusable because of making it too high

Thank you. I tried to get a bit of both with the redesigns, although I am looking at the Megamouth and wanting to redo it again to be more like a weird Mi-26 mixed with a B-29. I just hope that with vehicles, there will be a design for everyone.

Ngl, as much as i like the sharp angular redesign of the 'copters, I genuinely think the fat rounded design fits more appropriately.

Thank you for your mod! It helps tremendously when trying to raid or do quests.

@Rege The old graphics use to have several rotorcraft without a tail piece and that was explained by them having co-axil rotors. This would mean they have two sets of rotors, much like tandom rotors, only they were on top of eachother. Thank you for reminding me to update descriptions to match the current graphics when I can.
