Is it possible for pawns to schedule going up and down automatically? Like you could put all the beds on one layer and have the pawns go down there at night to sleep?

@ saserif i hav the same problem the thing is if u hav driiled then there is a option can select layer set it to somthing else then ur pawn is free to go down

@saserif Yes, you place the pawn on the shaft and then use the gizmo on the shaft to move them down

I can't order pawns to go down, I select a pawn and when i click on the mining shaft nothing pops up. I drilled a layer and the map is generated. Am I doing something wrong?

Installed, but I don't see recipe for a mine shaft in build menu/research. How do I build it? I play with other mods (mostly QOL).

Got a very minor issue with the Mning Shaft the centre tile shouldn't ever generate a bridge as the building image implies the bridge would block the shaft.

idk if i trie to connect the homemap with the first stage the menu just vanishes and i cant even destroy it without admin tools it gives a null error but i didnt find this one rn

@Mile i didn't have the research "Deep drilling" finished, could that be the issue? The drill up top never had a button for going down. The one down below had a button for going up but i couldn't do anything with the one below. It kept saying "there's nothing to bring up".

@Aravox You put the persons you want to send down on the drill, click on the drill, select the target layer and then the send down button.

I seem to have drilled down, i see the map to the underground but there's no option anywhere on the drill to send people down. So basically I can't send anyone down which makes no sense.

I told it to drill, it stopped and i can see the underground map. I've even put people on the platform, nothihng happens. There is a lift option to go UP in the underground but when i click it i get a message saying "nothing to bring up" someone help??

This is not clear
what am i doing wrong?

hey i installed this and the re-texture u linked in desc for the drill. and i ran just these mods plus harmony but i cant find the drill anywhere in the techtree or in the building section where am i meant to find it? or is it broken atm?

I'm not sure where to put this, and I shall inform the authors of Rim War in a similar fashion as well of this compatibilty thing, but I've noticed that when creating an underground layer map using this mod, Rim War seems to use the mine's wealth points when calculating the player's settlement's power on the map, instead of the regular colony's wealth.

@Ksenoriz Same way as when you select pawns on any other map. Just click in the colonist bar area for that map.

@FarawayVision You should be able to mark it for deconstruction as long as you do not have any active layers. But no idea if it works in a pocket map, never used that mod

For additional context: I have my surface mineshaft in a pocket map (Ancient Urban Ruins), and the shaft building is quite literally right up against the edge of the map.

How do I move a surface mineshaft? I accidentally built mine way too close to the edge of the map, and now I'm losing items that are transferred up because they try to spawn at invalid coordinates.

You are an amazing modder, keep up the great work. My only suggestion for a future update is increase the rate of rarer ores the further you go down but further away from where the mine begins or something like that.
