The main puzzle is broken. There is no need to use surface underneath the purple energy field. Other surfaces can easily be used instead.

Yep, it is possible. It stems from the fundamental difference that you can't come into contact with a laser field, but you can come into contact with this.

I was going to comment that in the final room the pink "smoke field" isn't needed, but I see that others have already pointed that out.

It seems to me that the smoke field is really just a kinder, gentler, laser fence. You can pass a cube through but you can't go through yourself, but in this case it doesn't kill you if you try. I wonder if you could create a test with the smoke field where it couldn't be replaced by a laser fence.

I love the atmosphere and the relaxing music as background. It almost makes you look like Aperture Science after the Portal 2 events, broken test chambers from which you can see the outside :P

Yeah, the second chamber can be solved without the smoke field. I had hoped that people would use it, but I didn't want to change things to force it.

The second chamber can be completed with out using the smoke field. Why is it there? In that case I think that this map should be developed more as the smoke field was used only once for a very easy test.

The smoke field is like the laser field but not deadly. I feel that this hasn't been fully utilized. The tests were quite straight forward and easy.

Some very nice fairly hard maps around just now, Really enjoyed this one could not find the use for Smoke field in last room or was that just a smoke screen? Waiting for more, Thank you.

I just deleted my entire workshop folder, and my queue redownloaded, and I still skipped the second chamber and the textures of the fizzler models were gone. Am I doing something wrong?

OK, the map has now been fixed. Chamber 2 shouldn't be skippable anymore, and the fizzler models are packed in properly. My apologies.

It's somewhere between a test map and a real map. Not enough for a real one, but more than a test one. A few things I think are interesting are that a) you solved it without the funnel and that b) the fizzler models got an error, even though everything SHOULD be packed. I guess I'll have to make a couple fixes.

Interesting discriminator screen. Got ERR in 4 corners of any of the smoke screen. Ch2 didn't need the funnel at all... I assume this is a test for another map...?
