If it is that one. Both the Framework and the Main Mod are listed as requirements (Check it on the right side). You should also see a pop-up when subscribing.

If a mod notes that it’s victory conditions were based on this framework does that mean I need this framework in order for that mod to work correctly?

I’m using K’s victory conditions for Neferata’s Ambition; however, the victory conditions do not show up. The mod page does not state that this mod is required but references that the conditions were based on this mod.

Multiple users have stated similar issues over months but the creator has not addressed them.

Any thoughts?

Am I right to assume from, the faq that coop is untouched? Is there a coop submod anybody recomends?

Tried this so far and didn't work. I notice when things don't work, they revert back to vanilla objectives, which is handy for knowing something bugged out.

Both objectives and condition victories use the same mission scheme. I never modded the first tho.

Do you think it's possible to get this: mis_move_character_to_region to be tracked in the objective panel or can it ONLY be a mission?

Which also works. One is the generic FAQ and the other is specific for developers who want to create submods.

Yes but because the framework says this in text -> db -> vco.loc:

victory_types_display_name_vco_victory_type_long Campaign Victory

It will only display Campaign Victory instead of Long Campaign Victory. Perhaps you did not intend to omit the "Long" part?

The framework allows you to modify any campaign victory conditions for any faction. You do not have to touch anything there. In order to create a submod, just follow the instructions available in the F.A.Q.

If you want Short and Long, just use vco_victory_type_short and vco_victory_type_long as victory_type

Ah Yes I see in the framework packfile the long campaign victory string simply says Campaign Victory instead of Long Campaign Victory. So I guess I answered my own question there, I have to modify the framework itself to achieve what I want.

Right now in the OG game there is Short and Long in Mortal Empires. I am changing the objectives but wanting to leave the Short and Long there. I just can't see anywhere in the pack file manager to do it so I'm wondering if I need to use another program.

When you say modded with the framework, are you saying I have to modify the framework mod packfile itself to get it to work?

What are you trying to achieve? Why do you want the word Long there?

Also, the Vortex campaign is not supported by the VCO2 - Main mod, but can be modded with the framework.

Probably a dumb question, but I note the in-game string that used to say Long Campaign Victory, when using this mod, now just says Campaign Victory. How do I put the word "Long" back in?


I also can't get vortex domination to work. Is that not supported?

This mod is just a framework. It does nothing by itself, it just gives the possibility to other modders to work on victory conditions.

I understand you perfectly, do not worry.

Yeah, I know it is a bug but it is not fixable because it is not in my end but on the Creative Assembly one. And it does not happen with specific factions but just sometimes randomly, if the savegame is created wrongly.

When it first opens, it will show the original short campaign victory goal. Click route 1 or Route 2 and it will be restored. I don't know if THERE is a problem with my statement.

I noticed a small problem, when I opened the Chaos Faction mission screen, it showed the original campaign mission, and it only returned to normal after clicking route 1 or route 2

### ANNOUNCEMENT ###

Release v1.3.0 is out, and it is the first major update relesed in over a year! After my AMA on Reddit I gathered some ideas and found a way to introduce a new feature: Routes.

Now, instead of having evolving campaigns with Short, Long and Ultimate checkpoints, you can choose completely different ways to approach your campaign. For example, as Dwarfs, you can now win by destroying the close threats, unifying all the old world dwarfholds or clearing the book of grudges. You can complete all of them, some or just one. Up to you to decide what is funnier!

Main mod will follow soon with a rework for ALL FACTIONS (60+). Hope you love it!

Steam is very buggy with notifications in general for the past year or so. I can sometimes be messaged by friends and then the notification for "Chat Message" stays on for 3 days.

Maybe someone commented and deleted their commented before you had a chance to look it up. You still get notified when they posted, but get no information about them deleting the post.
