How do you add more floors? I have tried for a month straight and none of the modifications I make worked. I have followed the steps needed but cannot add a single floor beyond what is already there.

Hmm.. could this elevator concept be applied to a docking hatch extension/retraction drydock airlock? Rigged to a sensor trigger that would automate the docking hatch to extend out for station or ship when docking?

Np problem, i already have fixed it. I have mode all the docking ports to the middle of the track of your elevator and i maked it work. Your elevator is an awesome work it works really well. If you are agree with your elevator implemented in our sub i'll give you credit when we release it. if you are interested in our development process i can show you how is it now

been out of the game after I lost all my process on my own sub since baro doesn't have cloud saving, so I do not know when I will get back to it srry.

With the new patch Baro Devs have broken your elevator, could you check it please, we have been developed a submarine for months that your submarine is the hearth of it. And theorically now devs have ''fixed'' it, and it dont properly spawns. If you could check it we would be really gratefull

could be, take a close look at the hulls in the track example.
I moved them away from the elevator with 1 pixel by using the arrow keys

I'm having the hardest trouble getting to the elevator to work right. I have been adjusting all the values on the mem components and I'm unable to get the elevator to go down on its own. Is this a hull align issue?

copy past should be possible, the values are also a bit trail and error. but if you copy paste, you should only need to change the values for your own ship -> 2 parameters.

however, it has been a while, I could be wrong

so, a couple of things, firstly, how does the elevator move as fast as the submarine, secondly, how do you calculate the neutral ballast of the elevator and the main submarine, lastly, if I change the values listed as the 4 most important, can I copy paste the math to my own elevator

Thanks, I'll try that. I was using the kousir which is the only example of a working elevator but it only works for the coalition sub. The separatist elevator loads partially in the sub. It seems like shuttles load where they are positioned an then move to the "docked" position which sometimes fails.

download the track. there is specific hull placement to make it work. place a 1 tick hull from top to bottom on both sides and place them inwards by one pixel with precise positioning.

I was assumed the elevator would be simple to get working in combat missions since it goes up and down and not left to right but boy was I wrong. Is there a way to force this sub to "stay on the rails" like the monorail from the kirtsu?

You will need to use it on a track: example in link below
