All large coolstores from the workshop requires the placement of a power plant beside it, because no coolstore has any HV connections.
Your power plant fit perfectly to feed these coolstores directly. But for my gameplay to save fuel for gas stations, I prefer bitumen for these power plant, which unfortinuately doesn't exist as mod in this size in the workshop. That's why I ask for a bitumen version of your plant. ;)
"There are no HV connections"
2 HV connections (up to 36 MW).
5 MV connections (up to 11.75 MW)
But anyway, I think I will make a separate mod with a bitumen power plant, I use your plant now mainly for the big modern coolstore, because there are no HV connections and you need to place a whole power plant besite it, this is so ridiculous
I think it's time for natural gas in the game ;)
I don't know if I'll have time to do that. I would also like ships that run on bitumen since it is similar to heavy fuel oil.
Many thanks.
Burning coal all the time is costly imo and you need a chunk of infrastructure to serve it.
Imo Gas/Fuel is easier at the beginning due to the mod with the small Refinery. (Also Bitumen is making a profit)
Look forward to you being bale to add lit windows, when you are able to. Love how the city looks at night.
Sometimes I wish that modders are able to only light some windows and not all, when they are making places to live.
I do like the aged texture look that some modders seem to be able to create, the weathered look fits well with this game.
Great idea to use fuel, just so happens that my refinery producing fuel is next to my growing industrial area.
A fuel fed heating plant would also be useful, not requesting :)
I liker your considerations about balancing it!
