Can i use this roads together with Big Urban Roads ? And should i subscribe to trafficl ight in this case ? Because Big rooads have its own custom traffic lights.

A 1-way version of this road would be awesome!

Are we going to see 4 lane us roads with the same texture at near future?
loomax 10 Jun, 2021 @ 2:10am
Ok so this became my favorite road ever. The texture is soooo nice. I want more :p

These are fantastic, thanks clus!

@clus: great work... thanks for these roads... they look fantastic. Do you plan to extend your plain road Collection? E.g. by 3-, 4- and 6-lane roads (optional with turning medians), Avenues / Boulevards with grass-/ concrete- and yellow diagonally striped medians etc...? That would be amazing. Keep up the great work....

That's some nice work. Are there still some asymmetrical (2+1, 3+2) in the pipeline? Or am I waiting in vain for that?

Beautiful roads, hoping to see some more in the future! Been trying to find some good roads for a New York style and these seem to fit the best. Thank you for your hard work.

..... There are only two (there is a third, but its an "inconvenient" method) ways to avoid that ... first, you'll have to keep some parts of the walkway "empty". (E.g. 3 m wide walkway and cims will only use the outer 2 m of its width. That way you have space for the bus bay) or secondly, you'll do it like I did it with most of my roads... expanding the walkway in to the road to keep the walkway intact. I know that this is different in rl ... ;) but you have to counter some game mechanics sometimes to keep the game experience "visually appealing" ... at least for my eyes. And everything I release for this game must be something that I like :) Everybody elese is free in their decision whether they want to use it or not. ;) Sry btw... I lied...its not a "short" answer. ;) And of course ... Thanks man ! :) Cheers...

Hey. Short answer ... I've done that and will continue doing that because of the game mechanics. There are some things in this game which I really dislike ... For example: floating cims over a bus bay... There is only one lane that "changes automaticially" when a stop is set and that is the parking lane. (if a bus stop is set, the parking lane will be deactivated) All other lanes keep their position and function. So... this means, that cims will still walk the "same way" (the position of the walkway you set up in the editor) they did before ... and if there is a bus bay, then they'll float over it. :/ ....

Why does the bus stop extend out into the main part of the road instead of diving off to the side like both the game default and pretty much every bus stop I've ever seen in the states (granted that's all of 4 states worth but still...)

Other than that, these look great, and the weathered textures make them far more suitable for use than the other American themed roads on the Workshop, which IMO tend to be far too "clean" or new. So thanks for the work and for keeping this a standard width!

@all Thanks ! :)
@tonycat333/Leeijo/carpet/Agamemnicon/Aitortilla01 we'll see ;). There are some things in front of potential other /more versions of these ...
Agamemnicon 19 Jul, 2020 @ 10:49am
Ah... the simple American crosswalk, how I've missed thee! The vanilla chunky rectangle crosswalks are just too loud and distracting for my aesthetic tastes and this road makes it easy to avoid them if you have a lot of 2-lane 2-way networks.

I would love love love a 2-lane 1-way and a 4 lane medium road. That would cover a LOT of bases for most players. If I can dream, I'd ask for a 2-lane 1-way with tram:) I really just want those simple American crosswalks EVERYWHERE in my city:)

I agree with leeijo a full collection would be very useful. Also I wont need to deal with US roads themes by pres anymore which is just too outdated. also american roads core hasnt been updated for any of the recent cs updates.
Leeijo 16 Jul, 2020 @ 11:21am
These are just fantastic! More of this please! Some basic four lane versions would be nice!
tonycat333 15 Jul, 2020 @ 4:16pm
Wow these are so cool are you planning on releasing more of these?
[Delta ²k5] 15 Jul, 2020 @ 10:53am
These are amazing! Because I also wanted to tell you this 30 minutes after the last comment!
clus  [author] 15 Jul, 2020 @ 10:53am
Thanks guys ! :)
@Redstonebuildz They can be changed via a mod e.g. prop replacer by klyte or the upcoming traffic light changer mod by CGameworld.
@CelsiuZ we'll see ...;) it'll depend on the overall popularity of these roads ...
CelsiuZ 15 Jul, 2020 @ 10:21am
These are amazing! How many more sets can we expect?
tobbar2000 15 Jul, 2020 @ 9:39am
These are amazing! Great work like always!
Redstone 15 Jul, 2020 @ 9:11am
Great quality! Your roads are among the best on the Workshop. Do these work with other traffic lights?
GregThunder 15 Jul, 2020 @ 8:27am
Wow probably the highest quality us roads on the workshop! Well done
