Building interior mines in your own outposts out of the weather is one. Or stone mining in a house in a town.

I've been through most of the cities, and I haven't found a place to build this mine.

What's the point of this fashion if most of the ores are outside the city?

Apparently 'copper alloys' refers to a higher tier research, not an actual in game item. You could move the tier requirement for the copper alloys research down, or move this up in the research tiers for this to show up the moment the copper alloys research appears.

On my moms laptop at my aunts now currently.

i researched indoor stone mining but i cant find it in the build menu, i see ore mine fine but thats the only indoor mine in the mining tab am i looking in the wrong tab or am i having an issiue?

I'm having the same issue, so I took a look at it in the editor. Looks like 'Copper Alloys' refers to not an item, but of completed research. Said research is at a higher tier than what the copper mine this mod adds is, but I'll have to test more in game to truly confirm this.

Sounds like a weird mod conflict somehow, copper alloy itself does not exist.

It requires Copper Alloys, bought copper alloy plates but it wont accept when I try to research it. Am I doing something wrong here?

Yep, it's the same as if you were mining outside.

I'd prospect first, see if there's any minerals in the town and buy a house closest to it. Or if building one outside lock the doors and things may just pass it by instead of attacking while mining. With the other interior mod you essentially can make an entirely indoor operation with enough space.
