It's not possible so say HOW, because you can only change some values in the table. After several tests my experience is, that the AI is more aggressive and tries more.

I think the question is HOW it chances them. There is no information in the description or your replies whatsoever as to WHAT you change.

Hi, my problem is that the ai can ignore the round time and than in the late game I have to wait like 15 minutes for 1 turn. Is that solved with this addon?

Yes the PBEM & SP balance mod can be played on PBEM. You can also use it for live multiplayer (live MP) but it won't bring the right kind of balance to it as human vs human is in manual combat.
And yes, interested to develop an AI mod through cumulative changes, though in the end, we'll want to integrate some AI changes directly in the balance mod.

I think the issue with the bot leaders, is solved with my other mod:

Change Cheat Bonus:
+5 Defense
+4 Resistance

We haven't released the tests we made on AI but some of the AI improvements are on the balance mod: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=661597466 Improving AI is very time consuming so I dropped it temporarily to focus on other balance issues.

Yeah, I'm actually the one who wrote that section in the Wiki. :P Yes I'd be interested to collaborate on work on the AI, but mainly through posts on the forum, as it allows to aggregate all the knowledge in one easy to find place, and posts can be read at any time. So if you can describe exactly the change you brought on the forum thread I linked, that would be useful.

Hi Hilidan, thanks for your feedback. I modified the "global settings" in the title.rpk. I found a very good description for each table line in the AOW Wiki:

To be honest, I'm currently learning my way into the mods. So far, I've found a modding guideline with which you can adjust values in the rpk files. The game is very good, but after many hours, I want to make the game a little more interesting. It would be very interesting, if the AI acts more balanced. I've already tested other AI mods and they are too strong because the pc expands too much or spam Tier 4 units. I think you need only minor adjustments to the basic game, which make the AI more intelligent, so that it is fun and there is a strong opponent.

If you like we can collect our ideas and work togehter on one mod?

Hi Gokhlayeh, thanks for this mod! I'd be interested to learn more about the "location score" you mention and what specific changes you brought to AI build priorities and spell priorities. Thanks for your feedback.

Strategic AI Settings contains a modified location score, that the AI will build cities more efficient. Also, I balanced the different diplomacy status. That means the AI will the status war and has in different status the same settings.

AI Prioritization: I modified some settings, that the AI now has the idientic prio settings between units and heros. Before it was the high prio on leader and heros. The AI should now be more effictive in combats. Also I balanced the "minimum spell effectiveness" now not every combat spell should work from the AI and be a little bit adjusted, similiar to the human player.
