Thanks for the reply. The Sweeper seems to the one going into kamikaze mode as soon as it detects a target. I guess I will just have to live with it.

@Olypilot it is possible. I'm setting speed limits thru MES, but there is very little I can do if something overwrites those speed limits.

This is a great mod. It seems like if there is a speed increase mod, sometimes the ships will go to fast and fly into the ground. Is that possible?

@Scarfy it was a plan to have some boss level encounters and I even have some half-built grids for that purpose, but I don't see it happening soon.

@Scarfy it scales with your game progression. At the start, ships will mostly ignore you if you don't mess with them. When you get more stuff, some ships will attack, when they see you or send drones after you. As I didn't get to rework the grids with new weaponry (yet), so they still have "just" gatlings and missiles.

May have found the culprit that was causing the issue: Was using the NPC name redux mod, and though it didn't change the name of Cult it may have messed with some tagging which led to confused behaviors

It was a planet and I don't know the name (was concerned something messed up and deleted the world and then verified everything for Steam to make sure game was properly DL.. again). Do recall the Sweeper popping up and acted like it was targeting the communication facility encounter, but only shot at it once every now and then (which caused the drones to appear)

Small bug report: you drones are spawning however they don't turn to head towards a threat with vengeance. Instead they just hover in place. Also found them attacking one another too

@TheMinerBoy56 I had some issues with spawns in very old test worlds and had to create new ones. Other that that, spawning seems just fine.

@TheRebornAce No promises on changing the sound. If I find better one that I would like and will be able to convert into propper format, it may eventually happen.
Not spawning drones after a raid notification is not intentional and I will try to investigate.

@Abisius only ship, that was allowed to spawn on Pertam (and Alien planet, Omicron, etc.) and fell immediately, was Graf, witch should handle even more than 2g. It was happening because some moron cultist forgot tanks on stockpile. H2 generator masked that fact by keeping thrusters alive, but without sufficient suply of hydrogen to fly. This mistake was now fixed. I dind't find any problems with other ships.

@The Erubian Warlord CULT is not using any inhibitors.

@Rooster No plans for AI Enabled.

Also is it intended to to receive warnings about a drone raid but no drone to come/spawn? The only planet installations around me right now are CULTs. So I know they're not attacking someone else.

As Gemini mentioned below, would it be possible to change out the alert sound? Doesn't really help as it uses the same alarm as the national/public warning system haha. Also it would reduce my blood pressure each time a drone attack occurs. Overall, other than that, I've been enjoying the mod a lot.

still hoping for an update that makes them able to work on planets with more than 1g . . .
on pertam (1.2g) and alien planet (1.1g) they cant handle the planetary gravity and just crash into the planet :(

could you please do somethign about cult ships falling out of the sky of pertram.
pertrams 1.2g seems to be to much for them to keep flying causing them to basically go down in a 45° toward the surface.
the moment they crash down they are basically just scrap that can be taken without any countermeasures.

With the warfare 2 update, drones can't hit me because of the bullet drop. I don't know about turrets, but they definitely can't by using fixed weapons. I was standing in a single spot with a drone about 350 m away up in the sky for 5 mins straight, all bullet hit the ground a few feet in front of my character.

I don't know if this can be easily adjusted with their AI, but sounds like it would be difficult. The bullet drop Keen implemented is absurdly unrealistic. Trying to shoot the same drone with a rifle while zoomed in, I have to aim so far above the drone that my gun completely blocks the drone by a lot. And being able to see the bullet tracers curve down sharply immediately after it leaves the barrel makes no sense. I really hope they change this. I was on a 1.5g planet tho so ofc is slightly less bad on a 1g planet.

Greetings, Is it possible to turn down the warning sounds? Especially the one that sounds like the EWS sound? Or change it to something else?

The Graf ship does not work very well on Pertam. Most of them end up crashing. I think it must be the combo of 1.2 gravity and the odd atmosphere. Is there a way to either stop spawning them on Pertam or boost their performance?

@Church.exe this error shouldn't cause your game to crash and those sounds were even working with it. But I tried different XWM converter that doesn't convert to stereo and published new version, so you shouldn't get this error anymore.
As a bonus, there is one new ship.

It seems to be working for others, but for me this mod appears to be causing a crash with some soundfiles.
The exact line is "

3D sound 'targetWarning', 'D:\STEAM GAME LIBRARY\steamapps\workshop\content\244850\2169237583\Audio\targetWarning.xwm' must be in mono, got 2 channels

@Olypilot & @Dalten drone issues should be mostly fixed. Bombers need more accuracy tweaking and missile drones still wait for full rewrite, but that has to wait for next week.

@Olypilot Solnakar is on sabbatical from SE right now, but I get the same issue. Once he gets back, I would recommend he refresh the mod against the MES rewrite (MES+RAI merge).

Does the Mod need updating since the new MES eliminated RivalAI being separate? After the drones spawn, they just fly a straight line and do not chase or react to the player.

It's nice to see CULT ships on Pertam - it's one of the few mods that do that due to the thin atmosphere. ASSERT won't spawn cargo ships on Pertam, and Air Traffic ships are usually falling from the sky.

I witnessed SEMS (Space Engineers Merchant Services) assault a CULT tower with 4 Arrowhead MkI gunships with randomized weapons (thanks to Meridius on that). It was an epic battle. In the night, with tracers and glowing projectiles flying all across the sky and explosions galore.

Came through with a salvage vehicle the next day. Good stuff. Love what we can get from Space Engineers with mods nowadays.

Really good mod so far. They seem to have left us alone as long as we kept our distance but definitely got aggressive after we destroyed a base

@Lyric Drake 591 even though Lucas didn't rewrite Corruption for MES+RAI yet (which will be even nastier than it is currently) it should work fine with any MES+RAI mod, including Cult.
