About that bug: it's a game glitch, not a bug of your mod (i tried several differnt factions and it was the same)
Can i also ask you if you have a modding guide? I decided to try and make a mod myself

He meant that he just played in a very small galaxy, and spawned next to the Temporum, and therefore got all his stuff obliterated by them before he could see most ships
Yeah I don't know why would he do that either, It's outta you control what people do to their games when using this mod
Small: 150p, 500 energy/sec, 1500 energy storage, explosion safe
Medium: 647p 2000 energy/sec, 6000 energy storage, will destroy most things next to it when hit
the smaller ones are more P efficient, take less space, and won't make the whole ships disappear when hit.
I'd say that the larger generator needs a buff compared to the small generator.
suggestion: small: 150p 500energy/sec, 1500 energy storage
medium: 400p 2000 energy/sec 6000 energy storage
this is intended. they're a point defense weapon.

I tested this by locking onto an enemy ship and firing a missile in the opposite direction and the missile was barely able to begin moving towards the ship before exploding."
the plasma missiles use a cannon-thrust system to propel themselves, so they have a low base acceleration. the issue is likely that such thrust system isn't activating.
