Honestly I don't understand either why people, in DS3 pvp especially in 2020, don't know how to dodge the WA for the swordspear. Even if it has a long wind-up before the attack starts. And, with my luck, it has a 50/50 chance of actually hitting the person.

Even if they never fought against the Nameless King, I would think that its a golden rule that when in doubt "dodge".

But hey, here we are!

The Swordspear is objectively good due to the fact it's technically a quality weapon while being under the guise of a faith weapon. It's a halberd so it's automatically useful so fuck you.

Not only that but it looks fuckin rad like how many times have you seen a sword combined with a spear in a video game you fukin dip. It's WA is badass and still hits people to this day because most people are retarded and don't know how to dodge a heavily correographed attack.

Even tho Halberd's were nerfed in terms of poise the Swordspear stuck as one of, if not the most useful halberd in the game. Halberd R1's, Spear R2's for two handed, Spear R1's, halberd R2's for one handed.
