ok, guys. I have tested the fix and it worked well. Transport helis mission 13, NOD, can now be captured.

Also I want to mention that I have another mod that includes immersive helis and many other features, in case you want to take a look: TD Mujalli Mod

Hi drewdann,

the new update should now fix the issue with the helicopter not landing in mission 13, NOD campaign. If this is not the case, please let me know! Also if you (or other users) spot any other issue, let me know so I can fix them and improve the mod

Unfortunately I cannot properly test the fix since I am one mission before with NOD :P

This mod breaks missions. Nod 13c for example requires you to capture a transport helicopter to move from an island to the mainland, but this isn't possible when the GDI copter doesn't land.

Hey thanks for the swift reply, was expecting a git repo which is why I couldn't find it but I can work with this:) Actually would like to incorporate you're color mods and the heli mod for RA as well. Credits given of course and all that good stuff.

many thanks for your interest in integrating this mod with yours.

if you are subscribed to my mod, you can find the corresponding source code files under the workshop folder of your steam directory.

By default, the address is:

...\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1213210\2171067818\immersive_helis\modfiles

Please, consider that some of the id numbers may differ for you (I'm not sure here)...

Hope you can find the files now.

@Kerekupai-meru - Keen to integrating this mod into Techno Scorpion, you say this mod's source and files are public yet I can find a link to them anywhere. Can you share a link so that others can find it?

You will need to colab with another mod maker to make your changes as the game currently stands, I highly recommend the "Veterancy and more" guy and have him/her add this feature to the mod.

If activated while not actually able to land (lets say you're hovering over sea) then it could find nearest land mass, land and deploy troops...but I got a feeling that could be a pain to code!

Perhaps it works for the chinooks as well. For example, I could try if the heli is hovering and deploy is activated, then land (if landing zone clear, else: transmit message: "are you nuts! I go back home")

yes, helicopters automatically return to their helipads and rearm. Also something I personally do is that when they are idle and I want them to return back to base I press the X key (unit scattering).

The plan is to bring this mod to RA as well ;) Many thanks for your comment!

Helicopters staying idle in the air is an excellent idea. Especially for apaches/orcas, the only time the player would ever want to land them is on the helipad to re-arm. (I assume helicopters still automatically return to their helipads and rearm without you having to tell them to land on them.)

Would be great to see a Red Alert version of this mod as well.
