Given the minimal damage it has, shouldn't force shove and push be a little more reliable and easier to hit?

I'm having an issue where the person using the lightning walks with their torso backwards but with their legs facing forward

@vinistrifezza: It's literally an alternate skin for the basic weapons. If the class can use a weapon, it can use this.

For some reason I can't see them listed under weapons anymore. They're only showing as items you can research.

@CantankerArt: They should work for any class that can use Rifles or Pistols.

does this work on modded classes? I have the marauder class mod (swords and pistols) and he cant equip it...?

I've been seeing some weird animation issues, so it might be a "me" thing. For instance, when I use Throw Axe on Hunter's Axe, I just do a normal melee attack but it hits an enemy in the distance. So I think I'm going to finish this campaign then do a big reinstall.

Lightning still has no fx. Soldier winds up, her hand turns purple, I hear the sound fx, and then the enemy is hit. A little spark of impact. But the actual lightning is invisible.

When I fire the Force Lightning weapon, I get the soldier animation, but no lightning fx. Anyone else have this issue?

Fun thing to do with this mod:
Combine with a modded class with extra ranged attacks/special ammos like the Bulletmeister, and you have yourself a magic user.

Sorry to disappoint but I probably won't be implementing new features for this mod.

If you want to use these weapons under other weapon categories, you might want to look into Iridar's XSkin mod.

I may take a look at that upgrade issue when adding midgame though; which XSkin can actually help you with that issue too.

Anyway we could get config options to this like the lightsaber mod you made? Or do secondary weapons not have such simple designations? I honestly don't know, but I do love your work and was hoping to put this on my Templars since your Lightsaber mod gave me that option. Thanks either way!

How do I upgrade these weapons? Added them to an existing save where I'm already at beam weapons, and these force weapons are stuck at apprentice.

Hello. I am currently using this weapon mod for my Psionic Soldier in RPGO, but for some reason he seems to be holding an Invisible rifle and I have no clue how to fix it. Would anyone know where to start?

By the by, if you want your sith/jedi/mage to use it. I discovered you only had to enter your

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\268500

Find the class mod you wanted to change. Enter config / Classdata.ini

Then have this

+AllowedWeapons=(SlotType=eInvSlot_PrimaryWeapon, WeaponType="rifle")

In some mods, it has an ; which means disabled. Just delete that.

You can technically allow any weapon type this way by just changing the WeaponType="rifle to shotgun" or anything.

Add settings for additional effects in [.ini]?

For example, panic, burn, disorients; like [The Axe Mod] -> Set to True/False
And additional effect like Chain Lightning? -> Actually work same as Templar(MG 2 bound, BM 3 bound)

Yea a light demon and/or chaos gear mod for Xcom would be great IF POSSIBLE (because 2020). Demons might be difficult since other than the Bloodletter I do not know where you could find decent models to represent them in game. CSM would just need cultist, marine, CSM lord (dow2/terminator style?), and sorcerer armor/cosmetics. Possible equipment could be: Daemon Maul, Lightning claw*, chain axes, Sorcerer staff, plasma/lascannon, and a Hellblade. Might be able to snatch up a Nurgle/plague marine and give him a poison/acid variant of a flame thrower :steammocking:

Would it be possible to get a heads up on the console names so those of us already at the beam tier could add them in? They seem great but Apprentice lightning hardly befits a beam-wielder XD

What about some playable chaos cosmetic/armors similar to your Eldar mod? It would be great to use when going up against your Imperium mod and there is not enough heresy xcom stuff currently. Would be fun to try to make a Bloodletter and a Berserker build in RPGO or a Chaos sorcerer and chaos lord with his 2 handed mace/maul. Just need the cosmetics/weapons and a few voices.

Tau would be cool too, could probably have some fun with the sockets assigning their various shoulder/arm weaponry and the sparks cosmetics would be astonishing.

@roland3710 Are you able to assign a custom icon for the firing animation of the force push? Right now you use the pistol shooting icon, I can make you a custom one for each action if you're able to update mod.

Hi Roland. Initially they weren't showing up as utility options, but after I restarted the game, it worked. Nothing more awesome then adding it to my utility and when I get shot at, the return fire(From RPGO) send out a force blast.
Also, if no one has tried it, Face off is great.

@Gua: I'm not really sure what you're asking. The secondary versions of the weapons in this mod should be compatible with utility slot sidearms though.

As far as the game is concerned, these are Assault Rifles/Pistols. But yes, they are meant to mimic the appearance force powers.

Chaos Advent would be cool to have but I don't have any Advent conversions in work right at the moment. Also they take a long time to make so it will be a while before I put another one out.

I'm guessing the Dual Wield Pistol mod would probably let you dual wield force shock/force push but it would probably use normal dual wield pistol animations. Could be funny though.

I don't see them holding anything in the screenshots and it seems they are shooting energy from their empty hands.

So are the weapons invisible, and basically these act like force/psionic abilities?

Any plans for an advent to chaos mod (possibly as some aliens being converted to demons or demons as varients)?

I love your conversions so far and I believe due to the lack of playable chaos cosmetics it would be nice to go against chaos since we have an abundance of player/playable imperium content.

Also since one of these force weapons counts a pistol what happens if we attempt to dual pistols/force weapons?
