I certainly didn't see a more idiotic excuse. Who do you need to be to justify a thing that does not fulfill its direct duties by saying that the game is not for PvP.

In case you've been living under a rock: Space Engineers is a SANDBOX game - people can make whatever they want. That's the whole point of the game after all. Lt.Starbound puts a lot of effort into his ships, and I don't think you have any reason to hate on them other than being jealous.
If he doesn't want to include a grav drive or a ton of scripts, then thats his choice. If you don't like it, then too bad - the workshop is full of 270'000+ other blueprints you can look at. And if you can't find what you're looking for, then go and build it yourself instead of whining in the comments .
