P.S. I found wheatly and took him all the way through except at the end he got sucked up by the vent!
The normal way, was to use the wind pipe on the wall and put the box on the button, then rocket turret shot
btw, why I carried with damaged core all the time? :D

However, as WateRmelon said, I guess if I look at this series of maps exactly as their names indicate, it wouldn't make sense if the everything played like a test chamber built by GlaDOS. I guess it's difficult for the designer to make a test chamber that plays as smoothly as those produced by VALVE, and still make it feel like it's meant to be a military infiltration.

As for McPants: The button wasn't hidden and when you see a dispenser and a button..... you push it and see what happens. The 'Excursion funnel' was obviously to make sure the cube stayed on the center of the button.
