Thank you for the quick action! Great mod!

Thanks for fixing! <3

@yukonzach

I fixed that rulebook URL, but I forgot that I had a different rulebook for each version, and another was broken as well. It's now fixed, and I uploaded both to steam cloud so they shouldn't break in the future. Thanks for reporting!

Thank you for the mod! One error still exists for a PDF. I think this is the URL you are looking for? https://fgbradleys.com/wp-content/uploads/No-Thanks-Rulebook.pdf

@PointMeAtTheDawn

Thanks for letting me know. I'll be sure to fix it soon.

Just FYI, the rulebook pdfs are recently no longer hosted in their original locations, so startup yields 2 errors nowadays.

@Lazerus101

It seems to be working fine on my end. I see in the previous comments that this was an issue in the past. I don't remember if the person added me to troubleshoot, but if you add me I can make sure to fix the issue for you. In the meantime, this issue seems to only happen if the host is lagging, so you could try having someone else host.

Something seems wrong with this module now.
On the first turn the starting player cannot click their tokens to "no thanks"

This is an amazing scripting job you've have done here!

@Smaxalot

I'm unsure why it's happening then. Could you add me on steam and I could troubleshoot when you have some time? Sorry about the issues. It's real strange for the computers to take a card, since they don't technically click any buttons.
Smaxalot 10 Dec, 2021 @ 4:31pm
Yep still happening unfortunately. Seems to affect computer players too as they always take the first card.
Ramun Flame  [author] 9 Dec, 2021 @ 10:08am
@Smaxalot

Just updated it to wait a little longer to enable the tokens to account for slower machines. Please let me know if you still have the issue. Thanks.
Ramun Flame  [author] 9 Dec, 2021 @ 10:02am
@Smaxalot

No, you should be able to play tokens. There may be some framerate thing that is making the tokens not be clickable in time for the first turn. I'll adjust it and update and hopefully that fixes it for you. Thanks for reporting!

Played this with some friends last night and it was forcing the first player of every game to take the first card. Is this a bug? I couldn't find it in the rules anywhere. Thanks in advance.

@Jamesborg99

Yeah, the point of removing card is since the person who takes a card gets another turn, they could just take the rest of the deck if they are ahead and connect all the cards. It could be a fun joke for 1 game, but it wouldn't be worth trying twice. I could add an option for variable counters though in my next update. Might be interesting to try having less/more counters.
Jamesborg99 4 Jun, 2021 @ 6:40am
That's actually precisely what I was wondering about. Removing, say, six cards instead of nine or even only one card from the entire deck. Whatever our group decides on. I feel like it could be fun to try and build as big a chain of cards as possible... only for it to be ruined by the hidden card(s) being the one needed to join two chains together.

@Jamesborg99

What did you have in mind? Did you want to add more or less counters to change the difficulty? I think the base rules are pretty balanced right now. Adjusting counters wouldn't be a big deal, but removing less cards could really mess up the balance of the game.
Jamesborg99 2 Jun, 2021 @ 7:16pm
Could this mod be updated to allow for a variable number of cards removed from the deck or number of counters each player gets?

Nice mod :lovermu:

This mod brings an awesome family game to everyone's table. Our family normally keeps track of the score (first to 500 ends the game; lowest wins vs. one round and done).

This mod is great! Really well done! The scripting made it so simple to play round after round. My game night had a lot of fun playing it.
ParkTheBus 8 Aug, 2020 @ 1:16pm
Great script. Thanks!
Ramun Flame  [author] 25 Jul, 2020 @ 9:25pm
I'll say that it's actually a game that has some similarities with Quacks, since it involves players simultaneously drawing tokens from a bag in real time. No more clues though. Since it's a bigger project, may take a week or two to finish. You'll see it soon enough.
JDario 25 Jul, 2020 @ 9:20pm
Any hints as to what it will be? Your mods are some of the cleanest I've seen, so I'm looking forward to it :)
Ramun Flame  [author] 25 Jul, 2020 @ 9:13pm
@JDario

You aren't the first to ask about that game. It's a possibility, but there a lot of games in front of it on my list. Already started on the next game this weekend, which will be my most ambitious yet. :)
JDario 25 Jul, 2020 @ 9:10pm
Would you ever consider scripting the Quacks of Quedlinburg? It's one of my favourite games, but I haven't seen a scripted version (aside from some minor setup scripts)
Renato Carvalho 23 Jul, 2020 @ 4:01am
Nicely done! =) Keep up the good work.
eyemeralds 20 Jul, 2020 @ 8:09am
Nice, simple, and well scripted! Interested to see more games that have been currently made as well as upcoming!
