Welp, I'm back again because I just found the Issue. The reason for the needing of wood is from the "more building" Mod:

Well, for one. Wood does not exist in vanilla Kenshi.

Unless you're using a mod which changes the default Building Materials ingredients to include wood, a resource which does not exist, this does not USE wood.

An early source of starter crops is a very good idea. Will try making something for that when I get things setup again. Our home burned down and it's a bit chaotic here right now. On a laptop.

Dude, I love this mod. I've been NEEDING something like this. I like interactive world too, but it feels more like a different game.

Anyway, I have one suggestion. It would be awesome if there was an ability called like "dig for seeds" and you could find like "mystery seed" and then plant a one time field that could give you say 5 of any crop. That way with a little effort you could get starter crops outside of town.

If I remember right I changed the stone mine recipe to use iron but I cannot recall for certain.

How do you get the stone in the first place?? Iv never seen raw stone for sale in shops before and only way i can think of getting it is to build a stone mine but now that takes stone...
