FightingDragon 22 Mar @ 3:56pm

Chaos Logrus 29 Oct, 2024 @ 8:52pm

algernon  [author] 8 Aug, 2024 @ 4:45pm
@menodj See the description above.
menodj 7 Aug, 2024 @ 10:21pm
emergency cars drive over other cars it's that normal? I just subscribed to this mod
Laura 11 Apr, 2024 @ 5:42am
Shouldn't this be in the vanilla mode? it's kinda a must to have emergency vehicals before normal ones. but thanks for making it, it really saved me

@MaxDiamondBoy8 Just other cars. Fire trucks follow roads and buildings are irrelevant.
GodzillaEatingLunch 6 Jun, 2023 @ 10:49am
i don't want to use big cheats but the emergency AI for the natural disasters sucks so will this allow the fire trucks to go through buildings or just phase through other cars?
algernon  [author] 24 May, 2023 @ 8:31pm
@E A This mod actually works fine with the Hotels update, and in any case this mod just doesn't have any code that can cause that particular error.

Post your output log and I can take a look at what's actually causing your issue.
E A 24 May, 2023 @ 7:59pm
This was causing the game to fail after the Hotels update. I was getting a Simulation Manager Failure on the loading screen and then a system.indexoutofrangeexception error that keeps popping up after you click ok. Had to force the game to quit. Once I removed the mod at the recommendation of Skyve the game would load (although I'm still having other problems :). Really enjoyed the mod while it worked so thanks.
Witchberry 4 May, 2023 @ 3:38am
still works just fine for me
algernon  [author] 29 Mar, 2023 @ 4:20pm
@fire.0202.storm No, not broken, still works.
Max.D.Inferno (fire.0202.storm) 29 Mar, 2023 @ 12:22pm
Helle dear Creator i have a question can you please update this mod for the newest version of Cities Skylines because it got broken
Azurebalmunk 15 Feb, 2023 @ 8:51pm
There is a mod called Collision Be Gone that seems to work for all cars.
ThatOneLad 12 Feb, 2023 @ 6:25am
Is there a way to make a mod like this but for all cars? I know it's a big cheat and alot of people like the challenge but I don't have the energy to do it all for 3 hours haha. I would love to build cities and see them all glow up. That's why I love this game so much and terraforming it into something nice!
MeeIIs635 4 Feb, 2023 @ 10:03am
Yoo, please make a mod that allows pumping service vehicles to toggle collison off.
fenbekus 15 Jan, 2023 @ 6:43am
I wonder, do you think it will ever be possible to create a mod that makes it possible for emergency vehicles (or any vehicles really) overtake using the opposite lane?
algernon  [author] 15 Dec, 2022 @ 6:35pm
@VNDK8R None is needed, so it's not a priority, but a rebuild to remove the caution icon in the content manager will happen in due course.
VNDK8R 15 Dec, 2022 @ 6:32pm
Is a Cities: Skylines 1.16.0-f3 update coming for this mod?
Sol 9 Dec, 2022 @ 4:18am
I am a little irritated about clipping but absolutely irritated by these vehicles getting stuck in traffic somewhere. So, this fixes it.
gabian 5 Oct, 2022 @ 11:07am
NA4U :

Thanks a lot for your advisement...

But by my side I am using more than 8900 assets and props in the city and 92 mods all together including that one... and my save on which I am playing since 2020 is not broken ... despite all these CS's updates....

So I would suggest you to check BETTER your mods and to follow the link given by StayhungryStayFoolish because it may help you a lot as well as many people here.

Last point I checked the mod by myself (I am not modder but i know some little things) and NOTHING is wrong with that mod according to my knowledge .

So again : Check (much) better please !
Moondog548 21 Sep, 2022 @ 6:59am
You say not to use this but IT'S AN ESSENTIAL MOD! :D It's the best fix I've found for a stupid problem.
StayHungryStayFoolish 17 Sep, 2022 @ 2:56pm

Emergency Vehicle Priority mod is fully compatible with Plazas & Promenades DLC.

Yes, the Emergency vehicle behavior is clipping through on any other vehicle or pedestrian. Please follow the Plazas & Promenades DLC Compatible modlist.
spamf 15 Sep, 2022 @ 12:29am
I absolutely love this mod! Clipping through is totally fine for me and not too unrealistic for a game that very unrealistic in itself in many aspects :). A bit off topic: this collision checking ... is that also what prevents multiple cars from using the very same parking space? I'm trying to implement a fake underground car park with several parking spaces on top of each other, but still only one car can park at a time.
Little_Cactux 13 Aug, 2022 @ 3:33pm
I'd also like if hearses could clip through. Maybe it could be an option you can turn on and off?
ender1324 6 Jul, 2022 @ 11:19pm
gold
Cobras_Rule 30 May, 2022 @ 1:36pm
you should add the hearse to the emergency vehicles that way it can just clip through all other vehicles and help with death waves
algernon  [author] 28 Apr, 2022 @ 5:27am
@mackie 505 Uh, no. Did you read the description where it explains all that?
mackie 505 27 Apr, 2022 @ 11:50am
LOL. Cars & Trucks don't need to pull over. The Emergency Vehicles just drive right through them. Is there a fix or setting?
Blackstone30 31 Mar, 2022 @ 4:53am
Well i tried it but the vehicles under emergency response still stuck in traffic...dont clip through for me
OutbackCatgirl (kot) 27 Mar, 2022 @ 6:49pm
i need this but for non-ems service vehicles too tbh
codewitch 27 Feb, 2022 @ 6:02pm
now if the vehicles would try to yield....
jtd3 27 Feb, 2022 @ 3:21pm
Thank you! This is such a simple fix to an obvious and annoying simulation flaw.
Casor 30 Jan, 2022 @ 2:53pm
I've been looking for this!! Thank you!
TheKillerChicken 14 Jan, 2022 @ 1:23pm
Could you do this with all traffic, if possible?
StayHungryStayFoolish 1 Jan, 2022 @ 10:36am
There is a rumor that TMPE will include this mod.
Essie396 13 Nov, 2021 @ 8:49pm
Could this incorporate with TM:PE to change the lights at intersections it approaches?
riceaw 10 Aug, 2021 @ 4:53pm
Love the parenthetical shade in the description :D
Darkrael 11 Jul, 2021 @ 10:40am
Irgendwie funzt das bei mir nicht. Alles mit Blaulicht steht im Stau
scottv63 7 Jul, 2021 @ 11:32pm
Sure, not realistic, but neither is the traffic for 2 million people when you have a population of 50K. Nice work!
Invictus_The_Shark 15 Jun, 2021 @ 11:22pm
"strict realists" XD
I feel you especially when arabians and european downloaders started complaining about small things.
Misused chair 7 Jun, 2021 @ 6:50pm
I wish oncoming traffic would stop for them tho
Ferviani 20 May, 2021 @ 8:37am
Hi, any news on when the source will be released?
Kebbin07 2 Apr, 2021 @ 2:54am
@algernon Ok! Look forward to seeing how you go with it sometime. Wouldn't matter if they were just clipping, swerving randomly thru traffic might look better than just straight clipping, but I guess would be good to see them just hooning straight along open road! So then you'd need to check traffic levels on each road segment? Or maybe just change the behaviour based on segment type? Anyway, all good! Cheers.
algernon  [author] 31 Mar, 2021 @ 4:19am
@Kebbin07 That's a more feasible idea, certainly, and one that's being (slowly) explored... it just requires a rewrite of all the pathfinding code first!
Kebbin07 30 Mar, 2021 @ 4:32am
Hey mate, loving the idea of this! Will be very helpful.
I see your point about the project and simplicity of clipping but...
Any way you could make the active vehicle swerve around slow cars rather than making the others move out of the way? Just a thought.
Actually, swerving cars sounds cool, maybe add random swerves for interest?? >:D
algernon  [author] 20 Mar, 2021 @ 4:56pm
@Pixelclone That would actually be even *more* intensive.
Pixelclone 13 Mar, 2021 @ 2:49pm
I've seen your previous comment about vehicles pulling over being difficult and resource intensive. Would it be as difficult and intensive for traffic to move over on multi-lane roads? Say the direction has 2 lanes, traffic in the outside/"fast" lane could move to the inside/"slow" lane for an emergency vehicle then move back out once it passes. I don't know if TM:PE "overtaking" calculations would be related, but it's an idea. This wouldn't work for roads with only 1 lane per direction of course, but it's a start.
TheLastEngineer 5 Mar, 2021 @ 4:11am
well i can live with that not rl realstic but more then having the emergency vehicles stuck in the traffic
