What software do I need to download to edit this Steam Mod? I just want slightly faster infantry movement.

P.S. I suggest you change the morale values by +3 for all units, and make infantry movement .3 faster, it should be good enough, but you can tweak it all you want :)

Hey @Grif109 I actually noticed that problem too :P, and I was going to change morale & infantry movement, but unfortunately I don't have much free time to do so anymore, but you can do so yourself if you download the .pack file manager from the TW forums. :) I'm glad you enjoy the mod and I hope this can help you with it!

I love this mod and I have been playing with it for over a year now but this still bugs me.

INFANTRY MOVES WAY TOO SLOW

Seriously I get the realism idea but in other realism mods in total war like Divide et Impera infantry walking is not this slow at all. It's a huge waste of time to wait for actually good units to move while my cavalry moves wicked fast by comparison. Plus it's really annoying to see men walking slower than the actual walk sound in the game and with the AI running to compensate for the lack of speed, battles turn into super easy routs because of how tired they get. Not the 25-40 minutes like you said.

Well it depends. Bow samurai beats bow ashigaru one on one, but experienced bow ashigaru beats bow samurai, due to the emphasis on veterancy in this mod. I hope this has helped!

does this fix the archer problem in ultimate immersive mod? ive been asking around everywhere even messaging the dev of ultimate immersion, but idk if im experiancing a bug or not where archers are completely useless, where 2 bow samurai cant even kill a unit of bow ashigaru

Well base game has them set to 50 immersion mod has them at 90 - 150 your mod has the same settings as immersion mod currently. I only mentioned it because i really like the way the game feels with this mod. But i had to change the boat values since it was just way too much for me. Having boats retreat so far that i have no idea where they went was getting annoying lol

Boats historically were a lot faster than transporting troops on land so I didn't change the values too much, so it is actually around the vanilla value

Hello! It seems I have solved the problem :), it turns out I forgot to include some dependencies of this mod (namely my More Banners Mod, which this mod also uses). I'll add the dependencies to the required items list. My apologies!

My campaign battles also crash on loading with his mod enabled. I'm using the immersive mod in conjunction.

Sorry to comment again.

Just tried to run Shogun with your mod and the two UM packs. Still crashes sadly.

Can see your changes in the menu e.i Yari Arigashu 2 attack, 10 defence.

But crashes when loading a custom battle or a campaign one.

Am stumped my friend!

Hello! Could I ask what mods you were using? This mod actually has a lot of incompatibilities and if possible should be loaded before it's parent mods

Its crashing for me sadly, only when loading battles.

This doesn't seem to work for Shogun 2, it gives me exception errors when I try using it, even with it in the game folder.

Edit: Version 3.0 won't work for Shogun 2, Version 2.0 works perfectly though

Yes, I use it at the same time, only conflicts it would have is that some units wouldn't show up, but if you use the mod manager from the community you can manually select the load order. For the least compatibility issue and best experience load Unique factions before UIM :)

Your Ultimate Realism Modpack has both this and a version of this for "Jaki's Unique Factions", which confuses me somewhat. Are all of the mods in your pack meant to be used at the same time? Because at first glance it seems like having both this and the Unique Factions version active would cause problems
