you don't need it in 1.0 just use freecam and scroll wheel to zoom in

How can i use it in new version without that thingy?
Yamnuska 4 Dec, 2020 @ 11:27am
you can also edit the game file to have more zoom lol
Agus_MG  [author] 4 Dec, 2020 @ 4:50am
yes, i do, but you can zoom in way more with this thing

you know you can just go into graphics and make your fov 60 instead of this, right

just what i need

Or to make it more simple, you can do this: Open the vehicle that you want to make thumbnail in, import this thing in the editor and get the seat from that vehicle you made and put it on the screenshot maker, then get it out of editor, make the photo with Insert and that will work, no need for changing files. Then once in editor just delete the screenshot maker and put the seat back on the vehicle

Once you make the photo in the game, make that photo scuare in photoshop and save it as a PNG. Then look in the computer for a file called "thumbnails", there you can find all vehicles that you created in the game, you copy the name of the vehicle you want to change the thumbnail of and paste it in the scuare photo, then move that photo to the thumbnail file and click on "replace", that photo will now be the thumbnail of that vehicle.

I tested it it and yes, it is practically the same, but with the screenshot maker you can zoom in, for example, you can make a photo of a car thats by the wind turbines in bricksville making the photo from the mansion. But changing the fov you have more options. You can use whattever metod you want, for me, i am more used to using this thing
CyberTheChef 26 Jul, 2020 @ 3:08pm
you kinda get the same result by changing your fov to 60, correct me if I'm wrong
Wedge 25 Jul, 2020 @ 10:06am
This is actually a common tactic in photography, and it has to do with decreasing the fov. you minimize the background and maximize what you're taking a picture of. :waving:
