Personally I think it's unfair that the module fully resets if you mess up a single lock in.
There really should be a way to unlock a letter. The length it takes to solve the module is very punishing to have to fully redo.

The Feb 11 update did not, in fact, make the letter cycle better. It has made the speed unreasonably fast.
