Definitely picking up a copy of the game at Target!

Thanks, your mod has lead to a sale of the cardboard version :)

Hey Ashiva, thank you so much for pointing that out! You're completely right, I misread the rules about the Mummy's setup - I always thought the Mummy seemed way harder than the rest of them and that's why! I just fixed it so the scarabs are correctly placed face-up at setup. Thanks again!

Hi, thank you for your mod... the scripting is awesome. I think there might be a bug with the mummy though because the instructions say the scarabs should be face up, but they spawn face down. I tried to respawn one of them and the faces didn't show at all so I had to reload the game, place them, and change their states each from state 2 to state 1. Hope this helps :) Thanks again for your work!

Hey great question Pope Spice. Someone on BoardGameGeek originally made him and he was added in the mod uploaded my nesznoe, so I included him here too. If you like playing the physical game I recommend checking out its BGG page, there are a ton of great fan-made monsters on there. You may also want to check out Scoobified by Alexiosio here on TTS, they took this mod and added in some fan-made Scooby-doo characters.

Got the game IRL and enjoyed playing it, then found this mod in the workshop and had a great time playing it with my friends.

Where does the Phantom of the Opera come from? Since he's not in the base game, is he an original monster you added?

Thanks for the kind words bbaker! Glad you're enjoying it. And I never got around to implementing sniperfiredemon's suggestions - they're on my radar, but I got busier than I expected so I haven't had a chance to look into them too much.

This scripted version of horrified is fantastic! Thank you so much.. I love playing this game with friends and family in person, this scripted mod makes the digital version so much easier to setup and play online.

Hey those are some great suggestions! They're much appreciated. I'm pretty swamped at the moment, but in a few weeks I'll probably have more availability to see about working them in.

this is really well done and I think there's some features that would make it even better:

1. A hero randomizer (picking a hero is good but having the option to randomly get one would be great)

2. Once a monster is defeated for it to automatically clean up the components for that monster

3. After setting up (picking monster and heroes and setting items) put away everything that's not being used (that way there's less clutter and the players have more space to work with)

4. A button to reset the table and start a new game would be nice

with these extra features this mod would be the best for this board game.

About to say I just played a game with the Phantom not realizing that room tiles were all the same on both sides when you flip them. Have to try the states thing next time.
Montresaurus Rex  [author] 16 Aug, 2020 @ 5:19am
Thanks for the compliment GoldFinger! The Mummy's Scarab Tokens and the Phantom's Theatre tiles both use "states" instead of being two-sided tokens, with State 1 being the "revealed" side and State 2 being "unrevealed" . To change their state you can mouse over them and hit the "1" or "2" button on your keyboard. You can also right-click on one, go to "State", and pick either "1" or "2" from there. I'll add a note about this to the description above in case anyone else encounters this. Hope that helps, happy playing!

this is awesome work!!!! I noticed on the mummy monster card the scarab tokens they're not number from 1-6. I flip the token to see if the number id on the other side but no luck. Am I doing something wrong?

Oh good catch profbetis! It should be all set now. And thanks to both of you for the kind words! If anyone know of any models that would work for the monsters let me know and I'd be happy to look into including them.

Wonderful board! One mistake I have noticed is that Wilbur & Chick's destination is "Tower" when it should be "Dungeon" :)

A very well scripted version of the game. Saves a lot of time. Well done. Small gripe I just wish the monsters were standees or 3d.
