I moved this mod to before interesting uniques and everything seems to be fixed now.
The items upgrade, but when I reload my save all items go back to normal. I don't understand why.
Main reason I want to use this in conjunction with Crafting Overhaul is because while that mod does allow upgrading equipment, it requires gold bars which are a pain in the rear end to actually find, and I don't like having to hoard all the rings and amulets I find just so I can break them down for gold bars.
Sourcerous Sundries basically adds a few recipes for upgrading various equipment types with the different upgrade materials, which requires the weapon stat to have the appropriate upgrade category on it (i.e. weapons should have UpgradeWeapon).
What this mod does add those various categories to all non-NPC equipment stats, by appending the category to the item's already existing categories, if it has any. That's what should make it work with any modded item essentially.
For instance, CO adds an item stat called "WPN_Sword_2H_Unique_Air", which has the categories "TwoHandedSword" and "CuttingTool". So this item will get "UpgradeWeapon" appended on it, making it work with the upgrade recipes.
