theres a reason people wear helmets
Shvedskiy 20 Apr, 2022 @ 9:28am
then u get stabbed in the skull and die
Abi  [author] 13 Jan, 2018 @ 10:21am
Yeah that's intentional, If I remember right wearing any item in the helmet slot automatically hides your player's hair, obviously bad for invisible helmets, hence circlet slot. Not much that can be done, but the mod I linked in the description should do fine for any situation where mine fails.

I noticed something, I have a mod that lets me wear circlets and helmets at the same time and I just found out that these helmets are technically circlets. They take up the circlet slot not helmet. So is this intentionally?

How does this work?
I can't find any other options in the forge
NugNug 8 May, 2017 @ 4:33pm
ok
Abi  [author] 7 May, 2017 @ 7:36pm
They shouldn't conflict but I'm not sure how that mod works so it's hard to say how the two mods would interact with eachother
NugNug 7 May, 2017 @ 4:59am
does it conflict with the helmetless perks mod for skyrim
Abi  [author] 6 May, 2017 @ 9:46pm
Sure does
NugNug 6 May, 2017 @ 4:51pm
does this work with the matched set and full heavy armor perks?
50 shades of rekt 9 Apr, 2017 @ 12:39pm
this is what i wanted, a mod to show my honor!
Cooldog 25 Mar, 2017 @ 10:35am
WAY better than that Vain Banding stuff.
Abi  [author] 23 Apr, 2016 @ 9:56am
It won't cause any conflicts since it's just adding extra items, but it only includes the regular helmets from the base game.
isaac8244 23 Apr, 2016 @ 9:02am
does it work with dragonborn?
Pai Arnápio 20 Sep, 2015 @ 5:24pm
Ohh thank you! Divines bless your kind heart :steamhappy:
Punished Frassica 12 Aug, 2015 @ 6:48am
But what about non-craftable helmets? I need a Dawnguard one...
BoredGamersLife 18 Jun, 2015 @ 3:38am
If this works thank god I love you.
Loot Goblin 26 Mar, 2015 @ 12:43am
You have my undying thanks, haha
Abi  [author] 25 Mar, 2015 @ 11:45pm
Ahh my bad, yeah sure i'll add that sometime soon c:
Loot Goblin 25 Mar, 2015 @ 8:41pm
The issue is that you can't enchant no headwear, and I likes my magicka enchantments :P
Abi  [author] 24 Mar, 2015 @ 11:50pm
Can't you get the bonus for that perk by just not wearing any headwear? Let me know if I'm wrong and I'll add something like that but I'm pretty sure it's unnecessary.
Loot Goblin 24 Mar, 2015 @ 10:38pm
Any chance you could add a no-armor hood as well for those of us who use the Mage Armor perk?
Abi  [author] 3 Jan, 2015 @ 4:10am
Ah, to find them go into console and type

help "[material] helmetless warrior"

eg. if you want the id for the daedric version you'd type:
help "daedric helmetless warrior"
quotes included. Then it should come up with the ID in console.
Wackydj94 3 Jan, 2015 @ 3:33am
I meant item ID
Abi  [author] 3 Jan, 2015 @ 12:24am
wot
Wackydj94 2 Jan, 2015 @ 7:44pm
What is the item idea for the items?
Citrus Funk 28 Dec, 2014 @ 12:52pm
How can I make this work for blades armor?
Tranquil 22 Dec, 2014 @ 12:54pm
ty, now all creatures know who is killing them ;)
Two-Ton Kid 22 Oct, 2014 @ 4:50pm
Great idea. I love mixing with the facial features so totally agree with not covering my handiwork with a full-face helmet. Now my foes can behold my glorious visage in all it's entirety in the brief space before I lop their heads off.
Abi  [author] 27 Sep, 2014 @ 1:01am
Nah sorry man, if you want a mod that does that I recommend the link I posted below on 8 Jun
WolfwithGlasses 27 Sep, 2014 @ 12:38am
,
Is this mod also including the Dawnguard DLCs Armors?
Thrixxon 21 Sep, 2014 @ 11:20pm
I love it... great job!! It is waste of time to spend hours to create a nice character and to find the coolest hair if you just afterwards put on a helmet. Now my character can show his nice "Dax Wax hair" and still be armored... LOL
Abi  [author] 7 Jun, 2014 @ 10:04pm
@MessyMuck Nah this does neither sorry, I recommend you use this mod: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/22765/? It lets you hide any helmet at all, not by me but it's the one I use now since I'm too lazy/dumb to update this
MessyMuck 7 Jun, 2014 @ 1:29pm
Does this add helmetless for mod helmets too? And dragon priest masks?
Abi  [author] 29 May, 2014 @ 12:21am
Aye they're upgradeable and should have the same stats as the vanilla ones
crazycraze2 28 May, 2014 @ 10:39am
can you upgrade these helmets??? and do they weigh the same???
great work btw
Praedyth 17 Apr, 2014 @ 10:04pm
did not think about that thank you for informing me of my stupidity gonna keep this mod subscribed though :<)
Abi  [author] 17 Apr, 2014 @ 1:26am
If you don't have the helmet on you'll go faster mang
Less equip weight = faster movement
Praedyth 16 Apr, 2014 @ 5:55pm
yes but if you dont have the helmet on the armor will make you slower
Abi  [author] 16 Apr, 2014 @ 2:59am
If you use the hide helmet mod I posted below you won't need to use this mod at all, also if you're playing on god mode why do you need a helmet in the first place? Just take it off, not like the armour bonus is gonna make any difference
Praedyth 15 Apr, 2014 @ 7:53pm
and to all the people who are going "why are u using hide instead of better armor you stupid child ugh noob" i play on god mode so Ha I win
Praedyth 15 Apr, 2014 @ 7:36pm
because im a girl in this and i made myself beutiful and cant see through the stupid helmet and btw does it work with azars hairstyles
Praedyth 15 Apr, 2014 @ 7:34pm
um does this mod work for hide helmets aswell
Abi  [author] 2 Mar, 2014 @ 8:31pm
Not sure why it wouldn't be working, make sure it's set to load in data files, otherwise can't really help, sorry.
Mighty MouseG29 2 Mar, 2014 @ 3:04pm
its not working what should i do
Abi  [author] 29 Aug, 2013 @ 10:05pm
I will probably add more to this at some point, but in the meantime I suggest you use this hide helmet mod: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/22765/? (or just use that one from now on)
I didn't have any part in making it but it's a lot more convenient than my mod and as far as I know it'll work with any helmet. It needs a script extender, but that shouldn't be a huge trouble.
Jenny 29 Aug, 2013 @ 2:48pm
can you do the same for the dragonborn dlc armor??
TelFur 25 Jul, 2013 @ 11:40am
Thank you dude
Abi  [author] 19 Jul, 2013 @ 7:02am
Okay, cheers. I'll have a look.
