I would still love to fix this, so if anyone actually reads that and has some ideas, feel free to reach out.
Maybe try editing the mod files to replace "$NAME$" with ""? That is, an empty set of quotes. If that doesn't work, i'm out of ideas.
Specifically, the original game does this:#
NEW_COLONY_NAME_1:0 "$NAME$ Prime"
NEW_COLONY_NAME_2:0 "$NAME$ Secundus"
and so on
whilst this mod replaces that with this:
NEW_COLONY_NAME_1:0 "$NAME$"
NEW_COLONY_NAME_2:0 "$NAME$"
I suspect that the base game has changed $NAME$ from planet name to star name, and that's why all the planets get the same name with this mod.
It would be nice if you could add support for Japanese and Korean language added in 3.4.
I'm so happy I'm not the only one who likes this mod.
I haven't even played with it, yet, but if it works as advertised, it'll make me weep tears of joy. Thank you.
