Would it be possible to make the interior wall and passage blocks functional lights? Graphically a passage functionally a light....

@marine.haas that bug you mentioned is a game bug that affects all lights (vanilla included). Keen said they will fix it.

@Tommorow Tech - This mod has a very slight bug in it. apparently it doesn't like to turn off the light textures when blinking. I like to use them as flashing alert lights on my ships, and it just started with the Warfare 2 update to my knowledge. Thank you for listening. I know you have other projects, and this old mod isn't on the top of that list.

@Tommorow Tech - Realise you're working on your other mods, but it would be very much appreciated if you could give us half block lights. Your mod has quickly become indispensable in so many builds.

Half blocks and 2x2x1 tops and tips would be fantastic. These are the best way to light up areas while not taking up extra space.

I am sure many players will be really pleased to have such decoration!

For players less mods in server = better server, but it's psychological barer.
So i am trying to compress mods to packs and reduce the mods number but still give players the best mods in workshop.

I second what Zaphire D'fox said, I'd love some half block variants of this as I use them to make my ship's interior more spacious and less cramped.

Ooo, yes. I've been so desperately wanting some better interior lighting choices. Request: please add half-block variants. I do a lot of rooms with half-block ceilings and walls for a little extra headroom/space. Half-block and half-slope variants would be awesome!

Progress update: The sloped models are currently in-game and functional but I am having issues with blender and I cannot get decent looking icons for them. I am currently working on it and hope to have the update out by tomorrow.

When (if) you are done wioth sloped versions, 1x1x5 small blocks (single light version, just cut off the excess from the existing blocks) would be super cool, so we could fit them into small ships more easily.

What I love about these lights as unlike the Neon lights that were included with Sparks of the Future update, you can turn these on and off! :-)

@Spartan It is a block that is a light. Think of replacing an interior block with some of these when you build.

Is this a block that have lights ? or light that can be placed inside a existing block ?

Is there the possibility of a version that is light combined with a standard armor block? I understand if you want to stick with modified interior blocks. I can make do with that, just curious.

Excellent. This kind of block has been desperately needed. A must have for me.
I'm going to be going through and swapping this in for all of the old SWI Lighted Blocks, which has been abandoned.

I am currently trying to do just that however, they used one texture for the entirety of the side so I am trying to figure out how to UV map a 3d object using a 2d image at the minute.

I would recommend that the sides of the block have higher poly versions, like the sides of interior blocks they are based on, and that you do something with the side opposite the lights.
Other than that, it would be a worthy addition to the base game. Well done.

If I could make another suggestion or three (some would probably require more work, so don't mind me if it's too much) - I'm thinking:

SUGGESTION 1:
1x1x1 large block and 5x5x5 small block on 45 degree slope

SUGGESTION 2:
2x1x1 LB and 6x3x3 SB on 30 degree slope.

Reasoning for 6x3x3 small block - all modded small ships stairs are of this size, it would match them for a ceiling.

SUGGESTION 3:
small block 1x1x5 and/or 1x1x3 "light strips" in both full and sloped versions.

Thank you for the suggestion I am currently working on it. The update should be out by tomorrow however I am trying to redo the way I originally did the textures so that they can use armor skins. I originally made this mod at least two months ago but then forgot about it.

would absolutely love to have the top light as small 5x5x1 block!
