I think that the pulse ray is kinda unfair, please let it have another ranged attack

Hmm this is the first case I've seen on the guns not working. The beams work normally as I recently tested. I think it could be another conflict try resetting VJ base settings in options or disable all addons (create a backup preset).

Technically this is fixed as in combine don't attack the NPC but now it's even worse, I can't even damage enemies anymore, please fix this problem so it is actually "fixed"

Is this the SNPC that doesn't have any walking animations and just t-poses around the map or the one that is actually decent and does work? I already forgot.

I think the pulse ray should have AOE because the synth sometimes can't hit a single moving target

suggestion: make him use his pulse ray go off like every 10-15 seconds, and while in between that time he can shoot (small bug) the pulse ray aims more to the floor than the person

Also, if you are willing to fix and balance this SNPC, I would make the Strider beams a secondary attack. Its main attack should be a telegraphed quick burst consisting of 8 pulse cannon shots using the player's AR2 sound effect for each. The Strider Beams should have a longer animation and be used for a group of enemies and should have a longer charge-up time, but with the advantage of tracking the target and dealing severe damage unless hidden from FAST, in which case it will target another enemy or cancel the attack. It should also be able to sprint torwards the enemy and able to fire at them while it does so. They should also tend to stay in the front and soak up damage to protect other Combine units to draw enemy aggro. Acting like a tank unit in a RPG. Its animations should also be revamped and the shooting animation trigger should be fixed, ESPECIALLY THE MELEE, look at that broken mess!

@Mr.Plague This mod supposedly fixes that, but I'll look into it if I could get some extra details. Make sure to have the you dont have the other versions enabled.

The mod was labeled as fixed because it fixes three key elements that would break the snpc in the original mod. (Shooting other Combine, Mod conflicts and shooting animation adjustments). Those ones I figured out how to fix, but not the rest of the problems.

If you'd like some pointers on the antlion guard crashes, I think it has to do with the trace of the ranged attack. It's possible that it's hitting the guard in so many places that it overloads the game.

I would say i've taken a huge break on this mod. I dont have the knowledge to fix the animations. Usually I would make my fixes through trial and error without much coding knowledge.

Yeah you're right the game will crash every time it shoots an antlion, but I don't know the reason why yet.

@Dreadox, whenever the Super Synth shoot's it cannon at a Antlion Guard my game crashes.
