Hello Mauseri!

thank you very much for this great scenario!

I had to edit it a bit to get it to work correctly, but it was worth it.
...it's one of the best scenarios here in the workshop.
I find the many scripts and triggers used in the scenario remarkable.
It was not easy to find all the bugs.

I have the complete run as longplay (All debug console entries are included.):
the changes are included in the video description, for reasons of space.

Can confirm. I loaded all required mods, swapped the IFA3_AiO_LITE with the normal IFA3_AiO, but the mission won't even start. After a short loading screen you get thrown back into the menu.
@Mauseri: I got into Ravage mods only recently but from the beginning looked forward to playing your scenarios after I'd dipped my toes in some simpler scenarios. Now I found out that most of the scenarios don't work anymore (at all or incorrectly). No problem with that, one can't support such huge projects forever. BUT if you ever think about updating one of the scenarios, please update "The Prince", it's got everything I would wish for.

well,this mission can't even open,but the others still playable, just have some problems with wheel menu option issues,just let you know. and i will wait for the day you fix it, you have great work

❂Sheriff❂Quicksell.store I am all too well aware of those issues. ATM I do not possess neither time nor energy to fix this all. Maybe in the distant future. Or maybe I'll just wait till Arma4 comes out and do this whole thing all over with that.

Anyways, I do thank you for your interest in this mission. Maybe check out some of my other work? Some of them might be broken also, but some still work. A quick look at the comments will usually tell you if they still run. They might not be as fancy or complex as this one was, but from what I've heard, there has been some folks enjoying them at least a bit.

the IFA3_AIO_LITE has been changed to IFA3 AIO, and KA weapon pack has been removed too , so you might need to spend a lot of time on this my friend

biarrot64 yeah some mod probably got removed/renamed/changed/effed up some way. This an old old mission.... I don't have arma installed right now, dont have the space for it... so I cant look into this right now. Sorry.

You have to have the "KA Weapon Pack 4.0" loaded. The woman model workshop page links to it. Model shouldn't require it but w/e.

Waifu yeah somebody probably changed some item name in some mod I used...

this mission has had some other problems anyway, some people said it worked fine, others said it was broken. I don't know why... maybe in the distant future I will back on this, but right now you should consider this broken...

Ok everyone so this scenario is BROKEN ATM. As everything gets updated and changed eventually, these things have like a certain lifespan, and this mission might have reached the end of it.

Maybe in the future I will see if I can get it rolling again. Maybe. But thanks for everyone who downloaded this and had a chance to play it before it died... so yea, thank you.

So i'm hoping it isn't just me that's having problems but Each time i load in, it is giving me the error of "cannot play because deleted file. VX_Character"

Thanks for answer. I think that issue is deeper and not only in that exact place. I did use commands you wrote for ROBAX but next part "use key to open safe" also failed to trigger following events. Also those trade posts maps in bandit camps should update player's map, yes? "CHECK MAP" option? It doesn't work either. 2.0 probably messed most triggers (typical) and only console commands seem to work. Well, it's not only your problem but whole community. Thanks again, and please don't feel like I'm trying to force You to fix things. Just tell your fans if You do.

gryfon I don't know why this particular set of triggers is giving folks a hard time... I think someone overcame this simply by loading a save from before all this and trying again? Just note that although you kinda know whats going on, things gotta play out as if you were doing it the first time (first go talk to the guy in the smaller hous etc)

But in case it doesn't work...This guy ROBAX had an issue with this bit also, so I posted him a set of console commands to get him through this bit of the mission... you can find them in the comments below.... page 7 maybe? And if you try them, be sure to use ALL of the commands and in that order... and only AFTER you have spoken with the guy in the smaller house in the yard....

its been a while now since I made this, and atm I don't have ARMA installed, due to lack of hard drive space, so I can't really check or varify or really investigate any of this...

but I hope this'll work out for you

Ok, I know where problem is. "Remove Painting" Command is not working partially. It didn't start next scripts (spawning key, allowing to open safe). When I used Your debug commands to remove painting it worked BUT then "Use key to open safe" is not working. Well...I can collect intel, but it doesn't allow me to proceed (meaning no doctor in lighthouse). I think that all or a lot of MouseWheel custom commands stopped working. Hope You can fix it.

Well... I can't interact with Vlad safe. Removed painting, found key and nothing. But I can open my eq and take makarov pistol and money, no option to take any letters.

I'm on the Doctor quest and found the safe behind the painting where I assume the letters are, but I have searched everywhere and cannot find the key for the safe. Any hints?

Yeah if your not the type to give half a storage for this one scenario, that's a you thing, otherwise; I give this already high score for both my peak interest. Let's see how i go.

wcnitro as you got the first quest, you also got a new briefing file... which had the direction where to go from the guy you met. The thug camp is just like a half-a-click in that direction... in the woods, not along the road... Be sure to read those briefing files carefully!

The mission has been completed. It is magnificent to be a character in this story. Quest decided apart from the smallest, thanks Maui helped. Everything conceived by the author worked out perfectly. Thank you Mauseri.

I'm on the island and saw the intel in the toilet. There was a brief message saying the door needs a key. I've been all over the shooting range and all over the houses and lighthouse but not found anything further. Might need a clue for this one. Did the message about the key contain some further details I missed?

ronny-sccp Load up the Debug Console from the workshop, it will show in-game when you hit Escape. Paste the command into the big box and click Local Exec. Return to game and look around. Command: _veh = "C_Quadbike_01_F" createVehicle(position player);

Hi there! Pretty good experience so far, but I'm having a little trouble towards the middle, I'm at the part with the painting. I've removed it to reveal the safe but I cannot for the life of me find the key to the safe. I feel like I've looked every nook and cranny around the house and barracks, and a lot of the town.

yeah I've tried fixing, including at Olga's. No damage is indicated. Is there another vehicle somewhere further along in the story or are there vehicles around... I've only seen another bicycle but nothing else.

ROBAX I have no idea. Is the fuel tank damaged? Maybe Ravage doesn't support the vehicle... maybe try fixing it even if it shows no damage? Running it with Olga's repairs should set damage to zero... sorry mate but I really have no clue, lots of bugs in the game/mods/scenarios, but this one is all new to me...

My motorbike is running out of gas super quick all of a sudden. it uses 20 liters in about 60 seconds. Is that meant to happen?

ronny-sccp there are some clues in few different camps... I can't remember the name of the place where the trader is, but I think it was a small hill, maybe south from NWAF... but I'm not sure. Keep an eye out for the clues! Although the merchant is not important, you can still finish the scenario even if you don't find him.
