PING!
There ya go lads, 1.5 and 1.6 support :D
Lance Axiom 23 Apr @ 11:16am
works fine here.

It's a fairly old mod, made for v1.1 and thus far haven't needing an update. But maybe now that v1.5 came out, it might finally have died. If a few more could confirm finctionality, that would be great.

However, do understand: I'm neither playing or modding Rimworld, and i do not plan on returning any time soon. i have had my fill of the rim.

It doesn't seem to be working for me. :-(

WDLKD 7 Jul, 2024 @ 2:38pm

Your welcome.

I can't believe I didn't find this mod earlier, given how many years I've been frustrated by this exact thing. It gets so much worse when you have enough floors that half or more of the screen is covered to boot.

Thank you so much!

Updated version tags to v1.4 - Mod works just fine without any other changes
Copper Boltwire  [author] 3 May, 2023 @ 6:05pm
I'll update my mods soon...
Slyuxx 3 May, 2023 @ 5:36pm
Can confirm zero change between 1.3 and 1.4. I feel like the only required update to make is to the version compatibility list. :steamthumbsup:

I have not yet gotten the DLC - which has kept me from getting back into the game.

As for compatiblity - yes it works. I know since it's SUPER SUPER simple mod.
Lance Axiom 1 May, 2023 @ 11:59am
Is this 1.4 compatible and the info on the page hasn't updated yet ?
Copper Boltwire  [author] 28 Jul, 2021 @ 5:35am
Minor update to the about.xml to tag v1.3 support.
Nothing else was needed to be "patched".
This took me about 1 minute to do, and some mod authors apparently can't even do what I just did... Lazy bastards!

@pgames-food
Try the mods D9 Framework and 99 Percent. D9 may work out though it doesn't specify, 99 Percent talks about patching in floors but I haven't tested it myself.
pgames-food 17 May, 2021 @ 3:36pm
ok thanks both :)

(yeah i think a d9 m5 framework mod fixes a less than 1 bug in vanilla, but not the floors that arent meant to return anything - i just keep thinking that if i smashed up a flagstone/crazy paving floor, that i would at least find some usable stone for use elsewhere :)

@Pgames-food
That is very much a thing. I've come across it before but cannot say where as of now. I'll do some looking around when I get the time.

@Pgames-food
No i do not. And that is a vanilla design. or a mod conflict. or some such.

But i have noticed that some floor types just vanish without giving anything in return.
Modded floors are the biggest offenders of this.
Rimworld is not a perfect game. Lots of bugs, oversights and design-stupidities that causes instability.
Now, as for my personal experience: it's not much of a problem due to the mod i made and play with. The cheaty mod i made :P
pgames-food 16 May, 2021 @ 11:30pm
hi, do you know if there is a way to always get something back when removing a floor?
i think some of the floor types never give back anything when removing, but it could be nice to be able to go to a patch of floor on a random map, and obtain at least 1 brick or stone :)
Slyuxx 16 May, 2021 @ 10:17pm
Yes please! Thank you so much for this.:steamhappy:
Copper Boltwire  [author] 6 May, 2021 @ 4:55pm
It's such a small thing, but... i find myself often with the Orders menu open as the default menu. and i often need to remove floors because i move things around... So... had to make a mini-patch to fix...

v1.2 support update - No changes to mod otherwise...

Another mod that makes me realize that I always wanted it.
