The mod does not create assemblies by default so it doesn't clutter your menu. There's an 'undefined' class submarine named like the mod in your editor that contains all the designs for you to copy, save as assemblies and edit as you see fit.

is this not working anymore? can't seem to get any of the assemblies to appear on the editor

Good to know @HalfPersian ! It used to be able to load as a sub but I haven't had the time to touch barotrauma in months and am still very busy at the moment, so I didn't know the update broke something. Can't promise when I have time to fix it but I am glad you found a workaround.

Figured it out - I'd loaded the A&A kit as a 'submarine', which didn't work for some reason. Loading it as a 'wreck' did. Thanks for the cool-looking stuff!

Hey there! Not sure if I'm doing something wrong but the item assemblies are looking very different when I open them in game from what's pictured - is there a setting I need to adjust or did something break with the update?

Hey Da_Morgan, check the previous comment's page, I described how to do it there.

Very nice . There is however a small problem with the tagging of medical compartments. The pair on the third row aren't connected to their text displays. It's not an easy fix either as it's very fiddly to wire them.

It should, yes.

Cant wait for this to work again!~

@psyduck good to know, thanks! Haven't played barotrauma in a while, so I'm not up to date on the current changes.

Its bugged currently since you can copy paste containers. Since the bug will cause content to be deleted. Its fixed in unstable. So you wont really have to do anything.

And can be fixed by going to unstable as we..

You are simply the best ! I had tried all the way around with tags, but i didn't know how to drag the object after it. Thanks a lot mate, you made my day :)
Ricki  [author] 11 Nov, 2020 @ 1:24pm
Nevermind, just took a quick look and if you just uncheck non interactible ony the containers you can drag the contents outside and take a look at the tags. Seems to be in order.

Hey @Nvialeth the drug cabinet (and everything else really) works by giving the items tags so they fit the containers. Just took a look and apparently my assemblies didn't quite like one of the newer updates, I'll fix that once I have time (probably sometime in the next few weeks).
To do this yourself simply take a container that shows the items inside (oxygen, railgun, extinguisher, weapon holder), then make take the item you want to put in it and add the correct tag (oxygensource, railgunshell... etc) and drag it over the container while holding shift to put it inside. Afterwards just make the container invisible and non interactible and move it to the correct depth.

Hey ! Loving the stuff you did. Unfortunatly, when i make an assembly of your drugs cabinet for example the item that are inside just vanish and i cant figure out how you managed to put item inside. (Same thing for the fuel cabinet, cant manage to put fuel rod inside the oxygen tank shelf) Thanks for the reply and safe sailing !
Psyduck 5 Nov, 2020 @ 7:33am
Specially like the fuel holders and the feed belt even if that is missing the mini railgun shells ;)
Psyduck 5 Nov, 2020 @ 7:15am
Nice work :)

Good, just making sure. There are some people who say its an assembly when really its both that and a mod. I.E the "Automatic Coilgun" creations, so I'm just being cautious due to that.
Ricki  [author] 18 Aug, 2020 @ 11:35pm
@DragonWalkerDEW
These are just assemblies. So there are no dependencies whatsoever. Just open the collection "submarine" map in your editor and copy paste (or save as assemblies) them to your submarine. Everything is strictly vanilla, so you do not even need this item activated once you have copied the assemblies to your submarine.
DragonsArchiver 18 Aug, 2020 @ 1:04pm
So... just a question, mainly due to the other "item" mods, is this listed as a mod, or a submarine so that you can save the Assemblies as needed?

Reason I ask, is due to some other items really being server mods that you cant use a sub with if it's not installed.
