Definitely a cool idea, and agree with your thoughts noted! I don't have plans to make it happen unfortunately, but glad you're enjoying either way
The only thing I would really love to see is upgrades to keep these armors viable in later game. It's obvious that Advent improves on these designs (IE armor values, health boosts, and even improvements like better shields like with shield bearers).
I may work on something like this for myself personally, and I've searched for something like this. I know I could just edit values as I go through a playthrough, but I'd like to integrate it to armor level tech or something similar.
Just my two cents on the mod and mod collection.
Don't get me wrong I love it as is Especially with shield bearers and added units like pathfinders
Which path did you go to to adjust the configs? Let me know and I'll let you know if that's the right one
I tried reloading the mods but I still dont see the option in the config mod.
That's a good idea, I like it. It would be interesting to balance but it makes sense from a gameplay perspective
Hm, it should be equipable on 'soldier' classes natively. Are you running any mods that change base classes?
You can set to be infinite, or repeat single builds as desired.
+1 Rusty
.. this mods adds an 'actual armor' item to unlock from that framework
All good! You can navigate to where your steam application is installed:
C:\Games\steamapps\workshop\content\265000\2192407850.
265000 is XCOM2's game ID. 2192407850 is this mod's ID.
Within that folder, you can navigate to 'Config\XCOM_Customize_This_Mod'
In that file, you can change all aspects of how the mod is implemented in your particular game state.
You can turn repeatable on in the configuration file.
Yes, "ADVENT Armor: Reverse Engineering" is a required prerequisite
@Werther86
Yeah, if the research's aren't getting picked up, starting a new campaign should address that. Appreciate the kind words however!
No apologize needed man, it was a kind of requesting confirmation of what I understood. That's why I kept stating "I believe" :) so I understand that's correct, we have to start from scratch if we started the game and subscribed the individual armors later on. Right?
In all cases, keep up the nice work; ur mod makes XCOM more realistic and even more replayable after all.
Thank you - by default you can build one. However, the config is fully user friendly and customizable to make the build repeatable, or the armor be infinite (like kevlar armor). You may adjust as desired!
@Werther86
I thought I had included logic to solve for this, but if not I apologize for the inconvenience.
I just autopsied the advent officer and no schematics appeared for the officer armor in engineering.
Are you subscribed to the individual armor mods as well? Have you autopsied the individual units via research? The armors appear as schematics in engineering to build once both reverse-engineering and autopsies are complete.
@anthonyl
Swell
It should change - are you using a mod like unrestricted customization? That will lock your soldiers appearance's
Thank you for letting me know. I understand the issue you're encountering - I'll investigate if I can address. I've added to my to-do list
Ohh, gotcha - yeah, I can't change that unfortunately
It is tintable
@Rost Kurt
Will include in next update
@rainbowjohn
You can make the schematic repeatable in the customization config to build multiple armors.
@Gguy
Makes sense to me too, glad to hear that its immersive and fits the lore
May be I can release a patch mod with it.
By default, yes - however: you can customize the armor to infinite via the config by setting “infinite” to yes OR you can customize the schematic to be repeatable multiple times by setting “repeatable” to yes. Hope this helps
@The Shrubbery King, @Col
Glad to hear! Thank you, enjoy
- adds the armor as a workshop schematic instead of a proving ground project
- adds NelVleSiS' excellent inventory images
- adds the requested 'Deception' ability
- adds further customization for all stats
Thanks man, enjoy as always
@Col
Yes, investigating for some additional interactions hopefully. Appreciate the support!
@Flashstriker, @TrooperCoon
Thank you, glad to hear
Now now, Master nelVlesis, are you able to create an icon for the Fulton Rewards, which uses the medkit icon and causes confusion sometimes?
