@RodgePodge
can you check the mod options, to see it hasnt defaulted to 0?
RodgePodge 25 Aug, 2024 @ 5:48pm
Hey, love the mod and glad you're keeping it updated.
I picked up Medical IV's and since then I've tried to utilize the blood packs, I'll get the same notification that it treated the blood loss but actually nothing changes. Got any suggestions where I should look next?
Royal Coyote 11 Aug, 2024 @ 3:42pm
Has this been updated and fixed for V1.5
Ogliss  [author] 27 Jun, 2024 @ 6:25am
@Doc Cams
check the mods options, might have defaulted to 0
Doc Cams 26 Jun, 2024 @ 3:12am
contains zero blood. no effect if used, no blood loss when extracting
GanjaMan [NL] 22 Apr, 2024 @ 3:07am
will you update to 1.5?
NoctisTheBogWitch 5 Nov, 2022 @ 4:51pm
The surgical operation doesn't even work, so I never found out. Thank you.
Ogliss  [author] 5 Nov, 2022 @ 4:16pm
@Star ★
Not a clue, never used MP, try it and find out?

@VexTheHex03
no, i dont think its added to the animal surgical recipes
Starina 5 Nov, 2022 @ 4:01pm
Multiplayer ok?
NoctisTheBogWitch 5 Nov, 2022 @ 12:11pm
Can I use this to treat animals?
sledge 27 Oct, 2022 @ 6:10am
@Frigglish correct but not quite. Rimworld 100% Bloodloss is not "body is devoid of blood". It's lethal bloodloss. Which is about 20% loss of overall volume. So 50% would be realistic. Notwithstanding the myriad other reasons why rimworld is far from realistic concerning blood loss and other injuries related mechanics (nor does it have to be..)
EmperorVolo 25 Oct, 2022 @ 2:46pm
@VtuberArraTheFox_TTV Ya I just noticed that was something you could do after I saw this mod.
ArraTheFox (birchman26) 25 Oct, 2022 @ 6:24am
Maybe not I guess it is a cool idea though in my mind to have multiple methods of treating blood loss and I was thinking of using the blood form yours for treating blood loss and only using the hemogen for treating the need for my sanguophage
Ogliss  [author] 25 Oct, 2022 @ 6:21am
@VtuberArraTheFox_TTV
Sounds like theres not much point in this mod if you have biotech
ArraTheFox (birchman26) 25 Oct, 2022 @ 6:19am
Just so you know the hemogen from biotech can be used to treat blood loss too and hopefully you obtain Biotech sometime soon or someone with it uses your source code to make a biotech compatible file to send you, sadly I don't know coding or anything that so I won't be able to.
EmperorVolo 24 Oct, 2022 @ 11:16am
Someone buy this guy Biotech.
Ogliss  [author] 24 Oct, 2022 @ 10:15am
im afraid i dont have biotech, making it rather difficult for me to implement anything for it
ArraTheFox (birchman26) 24 Oct, 2022 @ 6:39am
any chance of adding sangouphage frim biotech dlc (or however it was spelled) uses to this at some point? Hemogen itself is some blood related thing, so maybe A Sangouphage can drink the blood packs to supplement their Hemogen needs.
Ogliss  [author] 24 Oct, 2022 @ 5:13am
initial 1.4 update pushed, lemme know if there are any problems

@Draco Lander
Done

@Frigglish
made that the default, thank you!
DrownProofed 23 Oct, 2022 @ 5:47pm
update?
Draco Lander 19 Sep, 2022 @ 2:25am
Maybe it's because of one of my other mods, but it sadly is on the list, so blocking it would be very helpful.
Ogliss  [author] 18 Sep, 2022 @ 9:31pm
@Draco Lander
Wha? i dont recall it being on the list at all
Draco Lander 18 Sep, 2022 @ 4:23pm
Can you remove blood pack from consumables list for "Draw blood" operation? My pawns are using them to get more blood, doing in fact pointless operation.
Frigglish 3 Sep, 2022 @ 12:23pm
For those looking to set their mod settings to 'authenticity', a 'unit' of blood for transfusion is about 10% of blood volume.
V L A X 25 Jul, 2022 @ 2:33pm
Oh! Makes sense. Never thought to check that.
Ogliss  [author] 24 Jul, 2022 @ 12:02am
Yeah, that'd do it, id forgotten that mod options were something id added, not part of the original mod
sledge 23 Jul, 2022 @ 11:59pm
I can't. And while trying to find out how I can, I found this mods settings.Since you don't mention them anywhere I assume it is not intended that the blood draw rate is default zero. Probably some leftovers from the original mod in my ancient rw install? Setting it to a meaningfull value fixes the issue :)
Ogliss  [author] 23 Jul, 2022 @ 6:56am
@sledge
well thats perculiar, just tested and its working fine this end, can you gen a hugslib log?
sledge 23 Jul, 2022 @ 6:34am
It's broken. No changes to blood loss hedif whatsoever, neither drawing blood nor transfusions. Tested with only Core, Royalty and Ideology active.
Ogliss  [author] 18 Jul, 2022 @ 8:43pm
@noodl that curious, and your just using the vanilla bloodloss hediff?
V L A X 18 Jul, 2022 @ 6:03pm
anyone else have the issue?
V L A X 18 Jul, 2022 @ 6:03pm
Seems to not be affecting blood loss on draw or transfusion
Ogliss  [author] 17 Jul, 2022 @ 12:51am
@♛ EmuLegs
ive never tried it, but as far as im aware, it Should work

@Scrumpledorph
just testing with CE now and it seems to be working fine, and is modifying the bloodloss hediff correctly
EmuLegs 17 Jul, 2022 @ 12:33am
Sooo about that Multiplayer Compatibility?
Silverheart 22 May, 2022 @ 5:28pm
I'm not super code knowledgeable but I know that as an example there's a 'hidden' blood loss hediff level which is for I think like 10% or less, and that bleeding rates are increased dramatically. So, plausibly they just have a different custom hediff for it, but again I'm not particularly knowledgeable about the code. If you could get it working with CE it'd be super cool, especially for my slaver colonies to be able to get my real colonists back in action at their expense.
Ogliss  [author] 22 May, 2022 @ 2:02am
@Scrumpledorph
confirmed by another CE user in my discord, thanks for letting me knowt, this mod simply add/increases or reduces/removes the bloodloss hediff from the pawn, depending if your drawing or giving someone blood, do you happen to know what they changed? it might be as simple as using a different hediffdef for it, in which case its a simple patch to change the target def..... at least offhand i think it Should be simple....with Should being the operative word.....
Silverheart 19 May, 2022 @ 1:03pm
Warning to anyone who wants to use this with CE: I've tried it out and CE seems to rewrite the way blood loss works so this doesn't do anything. Not gonna break your game, but just doesn't work. This isn't a complaint by the way; I think it's a super cool mod either way and expecting every mod to be CE compatible is a big ask.
Ogliss  [author] 9 May, 2022 @ 11:22pm
@Hebrux
its just an operation, bloods gotta come from Somewhere!

@Kim
Not a clue im afraid, ive never tried the MP mod
Kim 9 May, 2022 @ 7:20am
Is it compatible with Multiplayer?
Hebrux 10 Apr, 2022 @ 7:53am
how do we get blood packs?
Luna 7 Jan, 2022 @ 6:15am
@Ogliss thanks :-)

@Ogliss - haha, it happens. thanks so much for the fix and for keeping the mod going!
Ogliss  [author] 27 Dec, 2021 @ 7:48am
Lol, id apparently fixed it ages ago and then forgotten to push it to steam, should be there now
shevekman 27 Dec, 2021 @ 12:08am
@Ogliss - any chance of getting the Korean hangul issue fixed?
V L A X 3 Oct, 2021 @ 6:25pm
Korean bloodpacks confirmed.
Sound Expert 3 Oct, 2021 @ 5:05pm
im also having the issue of the bloodpacks now being in korean :/
Triangular 13 Sep, 2021 @ 7:23am
The item name appears in Korean letters for me in game now. Worked fine before.
The item itself works, its just harder to find it now since i cant search for it easily.
Ogliss  [author] 28 Aug, 2021 @ 6:59am
Lmao, whoops, fixed - apparently managed to omit that part of the original description
